Nope, just let the thought be. Control you do not have over it, padawan...

Just stay aware and be patient. All those judgements that pop up, serve you right now a purpose. Interpret those thoughts as signs and try to ask yourself: "Why do I have those thoughts?".

What needs to happen to you, is the realization that judgements make you suffer in the end. If you don't realize it, you will continue doing it and feel helpless about it. And how do you come to the realization? Patience and awareness.

Also, I'd recommend watching Leo's video: Awareness Alone Is Curative.

I advocate to be aware the difference between having judging thoughts on the one hand and on the other hand knowing that it's foolery. To be less judgemental is maybe not what you think it is. If you want I can tell you what I mean by that in detail per pm.

When you have judging thoughts, realize that they are judging thoughts. They are not a reflection of an objective reality. You don't have to not think, just let go of thinking that those thoughts are absolutely true or untrue. They are happening, but they don't reflect reality.

@BobbyLowell

1) Stop judging/blaming yourself for judging. See that its not your personal problem but a general condition of humans.

2) After you accept that fact, start observing your judgmental thoughts objectively without trying to stop or change them when they arise.

Or, ask ''To whom does this thought occur?'' and shift your focus from thoughts to start an investigation for the 'perceiver'.

3) Conscious breathing or mindfulness practice as much as you can all throughout the day helps a ton!

4) One day, discover yourself without judgmental thoughts. All the best ^_^

Be very careful about what judging gives you.

If you're very careful and alert, you will see it only hurts you.

You got to feel it for real, knowing it intellectually doesn't help one bit.

only pain? i thought that judging can have some benefits like putting certain people or situations in one drawer and simplify future actions. or do i mix up something here?
