1.)

2.) I don’t want to be afraid of this life anymore
I don’t want to be suffocated by the weight
Who was this person I was pretending to be?
Silent compassion broke these chains of misery
Scared to death of being vulnerable
So I need everything I could to put the walls up
I locked myself and held myself in a cell of shame, screaming for a change

Pull the thorns from your heart
I tried so hard to run away from the truth
I hated myself so I abused my soul, my heart, my body for the sexuality that I didn’t choose

Devastated by shame, I was so entrenched in pain
I found that hell is the absence of loving self

I’ve been looking for a pearl, this whole time it’s been right in my chest
I went diving to the depths of hell once, but I only found death
“He said to me, don’t be afraid of your end. Be bold, be authentic, be brave enough to love again”
And he said,
“Pull the thorns from your heart, to wander in the fields of flowers”

3.) So this song had a big impact on me before I had my awakening experience and I connected to it on a very deep level although at first I didn't know the real meaning behind it. After my awakening experience I just happened to hear this song and the lyrics really hit me hard. I broke down harder than I ever had before. During my night of the dark soul experiences I would listen to this song for inspiration to keep going :)

Eiffel 65- Now is Forever

2.) Song Lyrics
We should think about,
what we got right now,
cause the good things are made up of time.
Smile to your problems,
leave the past behind.
Never forget this.
Find the truth in your soul,
keeping you alive.
Going on from minute to minute.
Dont shade the future,
with all thats behind.
Live for today.
The past is all that's gone,
the future is yet to come.
This moment is all our own.
We should live this way,
just building up our day,
now is forever.
The past is all that's gone,
the future is yet to come.
This moment is all our own.
We should live this way,
just building up our day,
now is forever.
Dont shade your future,
with what you dont have.
Keep your mind on whats here today.
Now and forever,
build the future now.
Keep this in mind.
Though you will take your time,
to get what you need,
but youll do it step after step.
Yet to come is all thats gone,
learn to live this moment.
Live for today.

3.) Topic Category: Personal Development,  Letting Go, Living in the Present Moment

4.) How has this song/music helped you to grow and progress on your journey?

I think it is so important that we let go of our past and forgive others.  We can get so caught up with text messages, facebook, addictions, negative thinking and worry, etc.  and not focus on the present moment, which is the only thing that truly exists.

Keep an open mind...You never know where you can find some good music!  Don't be afraid to post!
This one is for the spiritually inclined individuals out there.

1.) Tell Your Heart To Beat Again  By: Danny Gokey

2.) Song Lyrics

You're shattered
Like you've never been before
The life you knew
In a thousand pieces on the floor
And words fall short in times like these
When this world drives you to your knees
You think you're never gonna get back
To the you that used to be

Tell your heart to beat again
Close your eyes and breathe it in
Let the shadows fall away
Step into the light of grace
Yesterday's a closing door
You don't live there anymore
Say goodbye to where you've been
And tell your heart to beat again

Beginning
Just let that word wash over you
It's alright now
Love's healing hands have pulled you through
So get back up, take step one
Leave the darkness, feel the sun
'Cause your story's far from over
And your journey's just begun

Tell your heart to beat again
Close your eyes and breathe it in
Let the shadows fall away
Step into the light of grace
Yesterday's a closing door
You don't live there anymore
Say goodbye to where you've been
And tell your heart to beat again

Let every heartbreak
And every scar
Be a picture that reminds you
Who has carried you this far
'Cause love sees farther than you ever could
In this moment heaven's working
Everything for your good

Tell your heart to beat again
Close your eyes and breathe it in
Let the shadows fall away
Step into the light of grace
Yesterday's a closing door
You don't live there anymore
Say goodbye to where you've been
And tell your heart to beat again
Your heart to beat again
Beat again

Oh, so tell your heart to beat again

3.) Topic Category: Personal Development, Dealing with Grief/loss

4.) How has this song/music helped you to grow and progress on your journey?
This is a personal favorite of my mother's.  We are recently going through the loss of my dad, and has inspired us with hope and love.  Life is like a roller coaster with many dips and turns.  We will have things that in our life that can cause us great sorrow.  We must not give up on our journey.  Tell your heart to beat again! Don't give up! Life goes on! Things do get better!

Lyrics:
High vibration go on
To the sun
Oh, let my heart dreaming
Past a mortal as me
Where can I be?

Wish the sun to stand still
Reaching out to touch our all being
Past all mortal as we
Here we can be
(We can be here)
(Be here now)
Here we can be

Suns | High | Streams | Through
Awaken gentle mass touch
(Gentle mass touch)
Awaken gentle mass touch
(Gentle mass touch)

Strong | Dreams | Reign | Here
Awaken gentle mass touch
(Gentle mass touch)
Awaken gentle mass touch
(Gentle mass touch)
Awaken gentle mass touch

(Star | Song)

Star | Song | Age | Less
Awaken gentle mass touching
(Gentle mass touch)
Awaken gentle mass touching
(Gentle mass touch)
Awaken gentle mass touching
Touching...
Touching...
Touching...

Workings of man
Set to ply out historical life
Reregaining the flower of the fruit of his tree
All awakening
All restoring you

Workings of man
Crying out from the fire set aflame
By his blindness to see
That the warmth of his being
Is promised for his seeing
His reaching so clearly

Workings of man
Driven far from the path
Rereleased in inhibitions
So that all is left for you
All is left for you
All is left for you
All is left for you NOW...

Master of images
Songs cast a light on you
Hark thru dark ties
That tunnel us out of sane existence
In challenge as direct
As eyes see young stars assemble

Master of light
All pure chance
As exists cross divided
In all encircling mode
Oh closely guided plan
Awaken in our heart

Master of soul
Set to touch
All impenetrable youth
Ask away
That thought be contact
With all that's clear
Be honest with yourself
There's no doubt
No doubt

Master of time
Setting sail
Over all our lands
And as we look
Forever closer
Shall we now bid
Farewell farewell...

3) It's quite abstract. It depends on the person who listens to it, but I would say enlightenment and consciousness.

4) it just sounds so good to me. Some people might find it too grandiose and pretentious and cringy maybe, but In my ears it's pure heaven. You need to listen to it more than one time though... it really grows on you. And it made me question my own existence, which made me very open minded about this site etc. It was my favorite piece once. I liked driving and looking at landscapes while listening. I must admit that I don't do that much anymore .. i prefer to meditate hehe

Psy-based Music has many Enlightening messages within from many philosophical speakers like Terence and Alan Watts ect.. But then you have Chill music like Emancipator and Zhu who have some great deep messages too that can relate if you see the perspective.

for Example:

Life is all about you and not at all about you
Now, that's two opposing thoughts and yet both of them are true
How can you experience everything you choose to do
While observing the experience you're having from a higher view
See, it's the question, not the answer, that's the higher view
Otherwise, you couldn't differentiate between the two
Awareness? But of who?
You think you hurt me, but I promise I was letting you
They say we're all one, but where have we been headed to
I'd rather die free than have to live inside a petting zoo
I am the journey that I'm getting to

I could be it all, I'll make a good life
Let me lose my mind, it's the only way to love
Only way to, only way to love
I could be it all, I'll make a good life
Let me lose my mind, it's the only way to love
Only way to, only way to love

Gratitude is my destination
My destiny is perfectly aligned with this location
I am the map, so I travel back in time
I have everything I want cause my imagination is mine
But mind is not enough for me cause I am not my mind
I could see it all, but never get to see I'm truly blind
I could be it all, but all identities intertwine
The moon is only bright cause it reflects the sun's shine

I could be it all, I'll make a good life
Let me lose my mind, it's the only way to love
Only way to, only way to love

It's not the human race, it's just the human race
There's nothing left to chase, we do not run this place
But both medicine and poison's an acquired taste
So I started taking selfies of somebody else's face

Tell me something
What is more genius than a child's laughter
Are we not simply the children of this world?

Lol i just noticed the song is 4:32 long. (If you get me) :P

If you want chills, wait for it.

Suppose Love is real, and let's assume reality is unreal. Suppose we discover that the building block of reality is real Love, that means our assumption was wrong and reality is actually not unreal. Reality is real, if everything we supposed is true. I'm not going to say if it is or not.

Cool topic!
I think that it's best to only include vocal songs about truth, love, spirituality etc.  Not that classical can't be spiritual, but it's not directly relevant and else it might as well turn into a 'post you favorite song thread'. Oh well.

-

I like these songs because the first one is so pure, about love. The second is about the unique you exists, and can shape your own life, very beautiful.

Oh tumblin' leaf
You fly so high
Let's go chasin'
Butterflies

We follow clouds (we follow clouds)
Up in the air (up in the air)
Painting pictures
Of fairy tales

Oh, summer sun
Hold me in your arms

I love you mother nature
Your sunny fields of green
I love your taste of freedom
Your singing in the wind

I love I love
Breathin' deeply
To smell your summer rain
I love I love
When you kiss me
With your sunlight on my face

I love I love

I lay my head
Under the tree
How many seasons
He might have seen

The golden fields
They softly bow
And seem to whisper
A lullaby

Oh summer sun
Hold me in your arms

I love you mother nature
Your sunny fields of green
I love your taste of freedom
Your singing in the wind

I love I love
Breathin' deeply
To smell your summer rain
I love I love
When you kiss me
With your sunlight on my face

Like a warm embrace

Oh you little bird
Tell the whole wide world
That I save my love for her

I love you mother nature
Your sunny fields of green
I love your taste of freedom
Your singing in the wind

I love I love
Breathin' deeply
To smell your summer rain
I love I love
When you kiss me
With your sunlight on my face

I love I love

Song about self love. Life experiences itself through the unique you and you decide how to live it.

I am unwritten
Can't read my mind
I'm undefined
I'm just beginning
The pen's in my hand
Ending unplanned

Staring at the blank page before you
Open up the dirty window
Let the sun illuminate the words that you could not find

Reaching for something in the distance
So close you can almost taste it
Release your inhibitions
Feel the rain on your skin
No one else can feel it for you
Only you can let it in
No one else, no one else
Can speak the words on your lips
Drench yourself in words unspoken
Live your life with arms wide open
Today is where your book begins
The rest is still unwritten

Oh, oh, oh

I break tradition
Sometimes my tries are outside the lines
We've been conditioned to not make mistakes
But I can't live that way

Staring at the blank page before you
Open up the dirty window
Let the sun illuminate the words that you could not find

Reaching for something in the distance
So close you can almost taste it
Release your inhibitions
Feel the rain on your skin
No one else can feel it for you
Only you can let it in
No one else, no one else
Can speak the words on your lips
Drench yourself in words unspoken
Live your life with arms wide open
Today is where your book begins

Feel the rain on your skin
No one else can feel it for you
Only you can let it in
No one else, no one else
Can speak the words on your lips
Drench yourself in words unspoken
Live your life with arms wide open
Today is where your book begins
The rest is still unwritten

Staring at the blank page before you
Open up the dirty window
Let the sun illuminate the words that you could not find

Reaching for something in the distance
So close you can almost taste it
Release your inhibitions
Feel the rain on your skin
No one else can feel it for you
Only you can let it in
No one else, no one else

Drench yourself in words unspoken
Live your life with arms wide open

Feel the rain on your skin
No one else can feel it for you
Only you can let it in
No one else, no one else
Can speak the words on your lips
Drench yourself in words unspoken
Live your life with arms wide open
Today is where your book begins
The rest is still unwritten
The rest is still unwritten
The rest is still unwritten

Sorry, previous was a butchered version of Canon. Listen to it here - the first song. There's one part in it that gives me the chills almost every time I hear it. You'll know it when it hits.

@Dodoster =DD I can't stand canon, we played it at a wedding once and the repetitivnes of the song during rehersal just fried my brain.
THE ONE HIT WONDER! The father of 4 and 6chord songs! Pachabell! God bless him for creating a baseline fpr every single modern hit on the radio Hahaha.

Good Idea!!! I see your point here.  It would make sense to make another post about music pertaining to relaxation, and meditation.  I will do that here shortly!

Ok.... Here is a song specifically for Life Purpose/Personal Development.  This song reminds me so much of Leo's Life purpose course!!!!....A hero's journey. :)

I know, I know.....I'm a die hard Michael Bolton fan! lmao!  I'm such a dork!!!  It's from the Disney Movie Hercules!

I have often dreamed of a far off place
Where a hero's welcome would be waiting for me
Where the crowds would cheer, when they see my face
And a voice keeps saying this is where I'm meant to be

I'll be there someday, I can go the distance
I will find my way if I can be strong
I know every mile would be worth my while
When I go the distance, I'll be right where I belong

Down an unknown road to embrace my fate
Though that road may wander, it will lead me to you
And a thousand years would be worth the wait
It might take a lifetime but somehow I'll see it through

And I won't look back, I can go the distance
And I'll stay on track, no I won't accept defeat
It's an uphill slope
But I won't loose hope, 'till I go the distance
And my journey is complete, oh yeah

But to look beyond the glory is the hardest part
For a hero's strength is measured by his heart, oh

Like a shooting star, I will go the distance
I will search the world, I will face its harms
I don't care how far, I can go the distance
'Till I find my hero's welcome waiting in your arms

I will search the world, I will face its harms
'Till I find my hero's welcome waiting in your arms

Vanessa Williams - Colors of the Wind (Pocahontas - Disney)

-This song covers a lot of multiple meanings and topics.  On his 5meo Dmt video that Leo just recently released on actualized.org I made a comment about this specific song. This song talks about how energy is every where and in everything (Which Martin Ball talks about energy in his interview).  This video also talks about taking care of the earth.  When we love ourselves (personal development) we can take care of others.  It talks about Absolute Infinity too!

 Song Lyrics

You think you own whatever land you land on
The earth is just a dead thing you can claim
But I know every rock and tree and creature
Has a life, has a spirit, has a name
(this is talking about energy in all things, whether we realize it or not)

You think the only people who are people
Are the people who look and think like you
But if you walk the footsteps of a stranger
You'll learn things you never knew you never knew
(It's good to be open minded.  We can learn things from unexpected places, Don't be so quick to judge others, even  if you know there is a huge chance they are wrong.  Be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to anger.)

Have you ever heard the wolf cry to the blue corn moon
Or asked the grinning bobcat why he grinned?
Can you sing with all the voices of the mountain?
Can you paint with all the colors of the wind?
( I think these two sentences can be interpreted with so many meanings!  Can you get along with everyone and have peace? Can you use all the tools and gifts of the universe??)   What do you think this means??
Can you paint with all the colors of the wind?

Come run the hidden pine trails of the forest
Come taste the sun-sweet berries of the earth
Come roll in all the riches all around you
And for once, never wonder what they're worth
The rainstorm and the river are my brothers
The heron and the otter are my friends
And we are all connected to each other,
In a circle, in a hoop that never ends
    (ABSOLUTE INFINITY- lol  Enough said!)

Have you ever heard the wolf cry to the blue corn moon
Or let the eagle tell you where he's been
Can you sing with all the voices of the mountain?
Can you paint with all the colors of the wind
Can you paint with all the colors of the wind

How high does the sycamore grow?
If you cut it down, then you'll never know

And you'll never hear the wolf cry to the blue corn moon
For whether we are white or copper-skinned
We need to sing with all the voices of the mountain
Need to paint with all the colors of the wind
You can own the earth and still
All you'll own is earth until
You can paint with all the colors of the wind

I think that it's best to only include vocal songs about truth, love, spirituality etc.  Not that classical can't be spiritual, but it's not directly relevant and else it might as well turn into a 'post you favorite song thread'. Oh well.

I like these songs because the first one is so pure, about love. The second is about the unique you exists, and can shape your own life, very beautiful.

Oh tumblin' leaf
You fly so high
Let's go chasin'
Butterflies

We follow clouds (we follow clouds)
Up in the air (up in the air)
Painting pictures
Of fairy tales

Oh, summer sun
Hold me in your arms

I love you mother nature
Your sunny fields of green
I love your taste of freedom
Your singing in the wind

I love I love
Breathin' deeply
To smell your summer rain
I love I love
When you kiss me
With your sunlight on my face

I love I love

I lay my head
Under the tree
How many seasons
He might have seen

The golden fields
They softly bow
And seem to whisper
A lullaby

Oh summer sun
Hold me in your arms

I love you mother nature
Your sunny fields of green
I love your taste of freedom
Your singing in the wind

I love I love
Breathin' deeply
To smell your summer rain
I love I love
When you kiss me
With your sunlight on my face

Like a warm embrace

Oh you little bird
Tell the whole wide world
That I save my love for her

I love you mother nature
Your sunny fields of green
I love your taste of freedom
Your singing in the wind

I love I love
Breathin' deeply
To smell your summer rain
I love I love
When you kiss me
With your sunlight on my face

I love I love

Song about self love. Life experiences itself through the unique you and you decide how to live it.

I am unwritten
Can't read my mind
I'm undefined
I'm just beginning
The pen's in my hand
Ending unplanned

Staring at the blank page before you
Open up the dirty window
Let the sun illuminate the words that you could not find

Reaching for something in the distance
So close you can almost taste it
Release your inhibitions
Feel the rain on your skin
No one else can feel it for you
Only you can let it in
No one else, no one else
Can speak the words on your lips
Drench yourself in words unspoken
Live your life with arms wide open
Today is where your book begins
The rest is still unwritten

Oh, oh, oh

I break tradition
Sometimes my tries are outside the lines
We've been conditioned to not make mistakes
But I can't live that way

Staring at the blank page before you
Open up the dirty window
Let the sun illuminate the words that you could not find

Reaching for something in the distance
So close you can almost taste it
Release your inhibitions
Feel the rain on your skin
No one else can feel it for you
Only you can let it in
No one else, no one else
Can speak the words on your lips
Drench yourself in words unspoken
Live your life with arms wide open
Today is where your book begins

Feel the rain on your skin
No one else can feel it for you
Only you can let it in
No one else, no one else
Can speak the words on your lips
Drench yourself in words unspoken
Live your life with arms wide open
Today is where your book begins
The rest is still unwritten

Staring at the blank page before you
Open up the dirty window
Let the sun illuminate the words that you could not find

Reaching for something in the distance
So close you can almost taste it
Release your inhibitions
Feel the rain on your skin
No one else can feel it for you
Only you can let it in
No one else, no one else
Can speak the words on your lips
Drench yourself in words unspoken
Live your life with arms wide open
Today is where your book begins

Feel the rain on your skin
No one else can feel it for you
Only you can let it in
No one else, no one else
Can speak the words on your lips
Drench yourself in words unspoken
Live your life with arms wide open
Today is where your book begins
The rest is still unwritten
The rest is still unwritten
The rest is still unwritten

Oh, yeah, yeah

This one gave me super chills all over. Maybe cause i got them inhibitions!!

Suppose Love is real, and let's assume reality is unreal. Suppose we discover that the building block of reality is real Love, that means our assumption was wrong and reality is actually not unreal. Reality is real, if everything we supposed is true. I'm not going to say if it is or not.
