Contemplation Question

8 posts in this topic

Is it possible to break through to the being level of insights to get relative truth answers.

"Not believing your own thoughts, you’re free from the primal desire: the thought that reality should be different than it is. You realise the wordless, the unthinkable. You understand that any mystery is only what you yourself have created. In fact, there’s no mystery. Everything is as clear as day. It’s simple, because there really isn’t anything. There’s only the story appearing now. And not even that.” — Byron Katie

@How to be wise there are no true answer and questions. Just creation of illusion. What a brain does isn't true, the brain is illusory.

And how is that answering my question?

If I say something is True then that can not be it because that will exclude anything else it can be. And if that's not enough, everything will change. Even the stars die so whatever is true now is not true tomorrow.

The only thing that is true, is what is here right now. But it's impossible to name what's happening right now and yet that is the only Truth.

But yes. You could come to an understanding of anything but that is not the ultimate truth because any change can't not be the undivided self.

@How to be wise

The absolute truth or enlightenment gives you the "space" or openness to contemplate the relative yes. You should get Peter Ralston's trilogy to get you started. He goes into relative truth, such as self, the social world, language, self survival, communication ect. And of course the absolute as well.
