19 posts in this topic

Heu guys.. Since ive stopped watching porn for 7 months and since ive started meditate for 1 year daily I've  noticed that i lost sexual desire.. Is it normal?

You've slept a hundred nights, And what has it brought you? For your self, for your God, Wake up! Wake up! Sleep no more.

@LiakosN Well have you lost all sexual desire? Are you in a relationship? Do you masterbate regularly?

Sex is the absence of meditation. If the lamp of meditation is lit, sex is gone.

Could also be the partner then, although that's normal so don't be worried about that. Perhaps non-organismic sex could "help" if you want to get increased sexual desire.

@Spiral not only with my partner but with other women as well.. Maybe because i am not living in my head so much as i used to nor i fantasize so much of sex.. I enjoy women's conversations and company more now though

Well I find that be a preferred state of being, after all hanging out with people is more convenient and you girlfriend probably does not mind.

Overall i am waaaayvto calm with other women and more myself as i am speaking to them... I can easily make i contact and listen to them profoundly without thinking of having sex with them or staring and their boobs anxiously

Yes, it does happen once you start to do some spiritual work.

However it can be also a result of improper nutrition and lack of calories in your food.

@LiakosN I firmly agree. I find myself very present when my girlfriend and I have sex. It's a great feeling. It's no substitute for my regular meditation lol, but it is very meditative to the two of us. I hope we get to be present together tonight lol :x

@Barbarian Number 8 No problem, you are welcome! :) Now, I am currently out of porn for more than 365 days. Man, I do enjoy every woman's presence and I feel that i can connect deeper with women that with men. I feel more myself with women. When I have sex with my girlfriend it's very intimate. Give it a try and let me know your results as well :)

It's a temporary effect, don't worry but you can try erotic massage. I think that such therapy is the perfect way to recharge. I had such sensual experience in Ukraine, Josephina spa a few months ago. I was in the business trip and after long flight I decided to relax and booked a session of erotic massage. The masseuse was very gentle. She awakened different energy spots on my body. During the release, I had orgasmic senses in the whole body.

The “loss” of porn, flippant sexual encounters, overcranking, etc is totally worth it for the joy of unity in the relationship worth waiting for. It’s not even ‘sex’ anymore, it’s divine.

And what if after several years waiting he still hasn’t found a good partner to fuck? Then how will he be able to deal with his sexual urges without turning into a pervert like those phony priests or monks who molested innocent children? Assuming the OP of this thread is young and has not had much experience with making love, then without sex or masturbation how will he be able to effectively manage his sexual desires if he continues to suppress and deny them indefinitely?

I ask this because I feel like I am in a position where I can only use porn and masturbation to deal with my urges because I’ve hardly  had any experience with love and sex and have never had a serious girlfriend before, even at the age of 30, and I have a relatively high libido.
