  1. Plenty of sleep (8 to 10 hours)
  2. Eat well -- Try cutting sugar out for 3 weeks and see how you feel. Just try it.
  3. Exercise regularly (4 times a week at least)
  4. Supplements: Iron (if you have anemia), Vitamin D (if you don't get much sun), Magnesium. I'm trying Rhodiola and seems to help.
  5. Stay hydrated with plenty of water. Preferably bottled
  6. Less sex -- At least for me, I found sex to drain my energy a lot and my productivity throughout the day.
  7. Deep breathing exercises -- apparently breathing well can help for some.

Remember: Exercise, nutrition, rest!

Also you could go for blood test to see what your body lacks.

Which areas are you lacking in? Work on those ones.

@Joseph Maynor most of the time you get energy by using energy.

30 min of aerobic exercise is a remedy for tiredness.

These ideas are from the book mastery

Tip: Eat in small portions but regularly.

If you eat a huge meal the process of digestion will take up from your energy and make you sleepy and tired. So instead of having 2 or 3 huge meals per day try 4-5 smaller ones and get some snacks(line a banana or a piece of chocolate) in between those meals in case you feel hungry.

This works for me, good luck ;)

@Morrtiz Great posts everyone.  This shows me I gotta a lot of work to do.  I'm gonna get my pen and pad and start planning and strategizing how to work some of these hacks in.  Thank you.

I think all of the low/no sugar, exercise etc ideas mentioned here are awesome....I struggle with this issue right now too (severe overwhelm that totally depletes).....Anyway, one thing not mentioned that could potentially blow all of the smaller practical ideas out of the water is: getting ridiculously stoked on your life purpose!!! when I think of those I know with the most energy...it's because they have a reason to be energetic, their passion is the highest octane fuel imaginable...yours could be too :) !
