The Jungian Model Of The Psyche: The Most Useful Psychological Perspective For Self-actualization

4 posts in this topic

Hi Leo,

I suspect it would be a great service if you were to help educate the public about the Jungian model of the psyche. You have discussed at length the concept of ego, and this is quite significant. However, specific focus on the concept of shadow is an important aspect of ego for those pursuing personal development; this includes a description of what the shadow is, what (may) comprise it, strategies for bringing this information into the light of consciousness and using it to better understand ourselves and to aid in the process of self-actualization, and the ways in which human beings cope with shadow material, including denial/repression, projection (which, as I understand, you have already covered), integration, and transmutation.

I appreciate your time,

Hailey

P.S. Of course, if you choose to compose a video for this topic, do not forget a general description of the theory at large and each of its components, as I believe this context is equally as valuable as the particular subject I mentioned above.

Thanks,

Hailey

Also, I highly recommend reading Carlos Castaneda's series. It is a fantastic tool.
