No, not the kind of Alien Mind (Mouse) Leo talks about. Rather a less advanced version of it, more practical than spiritual, a liminal space between human cognition and something otherworldly. Still, it's majorly distinct from regular states of consciousness.
Over the past 2 years, I tried 60+ psychoactive substances. For the most part, they're different flavors of the same thing, but a few really stand out. I'll discuss one such chemical here, its effects are so unique I couldn't replicate them with anything else. It is O-PCE, a dissociative, a class that isn't discussed much if at all here, and that's unfortunate, since they can be as powerful, if not more so in some aspects, than classic tryptamine/lysergamide psychedelics. I don't expect many people to follow up on this or even be able to find it (it's very rare outside the EU), but that's okay.
First I'll list some of the main effects I got, and then describe the technicalities.
Crossing games like sudoku, chess, and others, and coming up with the best moves for each within the combined board/grid.
Entering a black void where there's no sensory input/output, concepts arise directly in the mind. Paradoxically, this is where true visualization can happen, Tesla-level.
A twisted multimodal way of thinking wherein asking a question like "What would Jesus do in a given situation?" shows the number 4 arising out of the darkness, and an octahedron forming from it. The answer is decoded as "something that a human can't conceive of".
Multifold amplification of recall ability. Being able to retrace paths I hiked perfectly, along with what thoughts I was thinking or what I was listening to at the time. Same with car routes and the like.
Enhanced mapping where I can bring to mind customs regulations of multiple EU countries, create a map with nodes, find similarities, connections, and ultimately business opportunities within those. Something like this.
Multi-window perception of time (past, present, future), as well as of various avatars/parallel realities. This has ripple effects such as fractured causality - events lose their before/after relationship. A conclusion appears in the mind before the premise is formulated. A good visual example of how this feels like:
Stepping out of own's identity and introspecting objectively, as if you were reading a book, largely solving the ego entanglement issues.
Dimensional folding - existing between two spaces, as a flat plane with no third dimension. A bit like Funny Valentine. Similarly, spatial inversion, I 'look' within myself to 'see' the world, it's kind of like headspace, but more warped, akin to a Klein bottle.
Naturally, neither language nor my use of it are capable of faithfully describing such things, but that's what we have to work with.
Now for the other information.
The optimal ROA for this chemical, the only one to produce such effects, is vaping. All the others are nothing like it, mostly similar to your regular dissos.
I use an e-mesh to vape it, that is the best way, but people also have success with simple oil burners (meth pipes). I'll only be talking about the e-mesh here.
User maxpechura has left very comprehensive instructions regarding the mesh in this thread, big props for that. You can also see this video.
The optimal mode I found is power, with the wattage range of 13-17W. If you've crushed the crystals into fine powder well, you won't really need to go above 15. I typically do 14.
Set an setting matter very much, it is a fickle chemical. It almost demands you being in complete darkness and silence. Also a clean mesh is crucial, I change mine basically after every session, the difference in intensity is major. Do a deep inhale, keep the vapor inside for ~20s, exhale, wait a little and repeat if you want to go deeper. Close your eyes.
For someone without a tolerance (which can build quickly), even 15mg might be enough to dissolve into hyperspace, so start cautiously.
The dosages for insufflated ROA on PsychonautWiki map quite accurately to vaping.
Final miscellaneous notes, it's not a physically addictive substance, but can be psychologically so, so make sure to take sufficient breaks. Similar to MDMA, over time some of the 'magic' can be lost if you abuse it. Plus, being a salt form (though one that vapes really well), you don't want a lot of it in your lungs, it leaves a nasty residue. Haven't tried freebasing it, could be something to consider.
That about does it. I have some exciting things to share regarding psychedelics, when the time is right - if I live to tell the tale.
