  1. @Asayake Yes I agree, mushrooms are way more tricky to deal with, it's like a mind of its own. It brings out my primitive and unpredictable side. LSD is smooth.

    @OBEler I feel like when I close my eyes it gets worse! However I had an ayahuasca trip that I had to close my eyes for 4 hours, not that I had to, I just could not open it, and the message I got was that the vine was working on my perception of the world and my vision was completely shut off for hours, maintenance time lol.  Whenever I opened my eyes it was like looking at the sun. 


  2. @Julian gabriel Canada has the best laws, many substances are legal there. As for research most of it comes from US, mushrooms have been decriminalized in many cities like Oakland, Denver etc.

    CIIS is the best university because they do extensive research and studies in the psychedelic field and the curriculum integrates the subject.

    MDMA will be the first one to be legal, through the trials happening with MAPS.ORG, then psilocybin after.

    To work with psychedelics legally you will need to study psychology, if you already have a bachelor's degree (even if it's not related to psychology) you can do a Master's in psychology which will take 2 or 3 years. 


  3. I watched the video below a couple weeks ago, and I know the lady talking is very young but she's gotta a point.

    She is basically talking about how we get rigid and bitter as we become an adult, that the simple things that should bring us joy are overlooked and sometimes invisible for us. 

    I find that psychedelics bring back this side of pure curiosity and exploration, and thanks to those substances I can say I have a happier life, and that I laugh more, and that I enjoy the simple things more. I'm not saying that we should be irresponsible and not take things seriously but all this seriousness does not bring us anything good. Have you noticed that when you smile your whole body relaxes instantly? I just learned this with my skydiving buddy, it's a little trick to help the body deal with the fear and adrenaline.

    When I watched this video I could see how much serious I became. Now I'm basically trying to bring that sense of wonder back into my life, I'm trying things I never tried, I'm more comfortable with failure (you know a child who doesn't really care about looking embarrassed?) and I also increased my curiosity.

    This subject brings me so much joy that I wanted to come here and create a new post in this thread that is called (off-topic: fun) 

    Something I look for in my spiritual teachers is humor, I get so happy when I see Leo wearing a hat on Christmas, or playing with the juggling balls, or out in Vegas dancing, it shows me is human side. We all have this side, but why do we hide?

    Why are we so serious? Even when we have it all together? even when we know this is all a dream?

  4. @thisintegrated I would think stage orange uses drugs or even psychedelics in party settings, I think about Coachella and EDM or even Vegas to be very stage orange with all the pretty clothes, long nails, the superficiality etc. All those young people do use psychedelic drugs for recreation only. 

    While stage green uses it mostly for spiritual purposes. 

    I would be curious to know about Santo Daime and Uniao do Vegetal, those are churches who do use psychedelic for spiritual purposes but have strong blue values as their foundation. They do indeed have some green to it and some people even yellow but the blue is predominant.

    I'm part of one and I get very bothered by the masculine mindset, women do not have the same rights as men (for example most of the ayahuasca session are directed by men) would be interesting to hear opinions of people here from the forum :) 


  5. Oh lord I don't know how to answer this. :/

    My dad was (is) alcoholic and my mom always suffered with severe depression, she was always in bed. I don't really have memories about my childhood, my dad was very aggressive and I feel like I just dissociated to deal with everything and that is why I don't have recollection. My mom was abused and did not like being touched, she also didn't use words of affirmation so my conception of love was (I believe) very abstract. 

    The way she expressed her love was through food and clean clothes?! 

    But apparently after reading the comments I'm not alone.

    I've been living a more "light" life and I see that the whole self-help thing was helpful but at the same time damaging, we definitely need balance.

    Everything in moderation including moderation. 

    We were domesticated to live a serious life, and as we age we become more and more rigid and bitter. We smile less and everything needs rules and rationality. I believe there is an immense power in tapping into our inner child, which is where curiosity and creativity is. I've been living my best life because of this shift, I call it bringing the INNER child OUT, I've been taking more risks, meeting crazy courageous people who are ALIVE, I started skydiving and wind tunnel, am training do do highline and still have my professional life untouched, how cool is it that we can balance all of that?!

    Leo talks about psychedelic use for personal development and I've always used this way, but lately I've used simply for laughing, dancing, connecting with close friends, and I've included in my movement practices, slackline, skateboard, exploring nature. Do I call it recreational use? No, because I'm against the idea that we need to divide our life like that, the same way we have a war on drugs, we have a war on pleasure and fun. We repress sex, fun and all the desires, I'm not saying we should live an hedonic life but I'm inviting us to rethink how we live and what was taught to us, and possibly include fun and all the nice stuff god gave us, into our daily lives. 

    Like Bukowski said "We are here to live our lives well that death will tremble to take us", god provided us with all those tools and this amazing body that remains unused because of all the seriousness, and because of society, government, church etc. 

    My only concern is that people who are not used to explore those areas will just run amok EXACLY because those parts of their personality are being repressed. and we know very well what happens when something is repressed.

    I'm doing his "Tom at the park" thing, which is basically to increase the power of our imagination, because most of the time we are trapped in living in automatic mode instead of creating the life we want, I love the idea so this got me really excited.

    But what I'm actually after is the realization that reality is not physical, I've had many psychedelic trips, including with 5MeO (which I did not break through) and I do have all the theory that we are all one, that reality as we see its only here because I'm the one observing, but I want to have the direct experience that this is not physical. I feel like I can higher my psychedelic dosage but I don't want to be traumatized by it.

    I find his teachings to not be really heart centered which is why I don't think he has reached enlightenment, I also think that where I am at in life his teachings might be helpful. 

    Like you said it helped you, you know the people who use psychedelics in the path to enlightenment but then they are against it even tho it helped them in their path to where they were at? I'm just exploring to see what is more useful for me right now. I have so much to integrate and transcend before I can focus on my spirituality only.

  8. @Benton Which video does he talk about aliens?? Havent wacthed, I only know of a video he talks about the pleiadians.

     

    The ocean thing I found out myself, I'm pisces like Matt and notice I live better closer to the beach, now I'm like 20 minutes away and he said the closer the better. Might be because California is a desert too, so I will check a place very close to the beach, Im a beach bum xD I think nature in general helps to ground our energy, also to recharge and release the crazy energy from the city.

    I make 8K per month and will be working in this job (as an architect) till end of the year, save a little more money and start the transition to coaching (I got the iPEC cert.) and youtuber.

    I have a YT channel (3K followers) and Instagram (18K followers) which I started a year ago but my content is all in Portuguese, the conversion of the coin to dollar is every 1 (real = Brazilian coin) is $0.18 dollar. 

    I'm about to create an immersion/course about psychedelics and start coaching services but am unsure due to the currency. My English is good and I could totally record videos in English but my intention is to give back to my culture in Brazil

    Would love to know your take on it.

  10. @Gabith I also had such beautiful experiences with K, I looked at my friend and could see her pure soul, seeing beyond the ego.

    I think ketamine dissolves all the samskaras/ blockages of the body and we can feel our true nature, it relaxes the body, the substance doesn't provide us with love and bliss, we are love and bliss, our traumas and stuff that are on the way to experiencing this state in our sober reality. 

    On the other side and given that I did K only around 25 times, I developed sinus problems and till to this day never fully recovered. I believe there are way better substances to work with.

    It was such an amazing session, that was my first time talking to someone who is enlightened.

    Matt is such a loving being. His teachings embrace the ego as well and it is easier for me to comprehend, instead of the mindset of "killing the ego" etc. 

    Right in the beginning of the session I told him that I wanted to serve the world better and not focus on me and the whole session was about honoring my place on earth and feeling like I deserve everything that I want, and it is okay for me to want things for myself, it is cliché but we always want to help without having our own cup full. I've seen other videos where he talks about unworthiness, so it's not even about killing the ego but having a healthy one.

    We did the repeat after me's (you know if you are familiar with his work, it's basically affirmations/mantras), he also mentioned I was carrying lots of stuff from my mom and dad, he gave me tips like it's better if I live closer to the water/beach.

    I haven't seen my family, that is back in Brazil, for 7 years and he told me my immigration case will take two more years to be approved, that was difficult to hear but at least I know the time. He also gave me tips about getting out of wage slavery, he said I need to make peace with the masculine and transition slowly into my new career, I am an architect and currently work with numbers and since I'm more of a heart centered person I'm clearly not in the ideal career path, so I was excited to hear that there is a way out, he said that there is something good waiting for me if Im able to handle my work for a little while. 

    I could feel the change in my body right away, much lighter. Now I just need to implement everything he told me. 

    I highly recommend, I'm waiting to go to one of his workshops here in California, lets see :)

    Maybe you could create a video with the subjects that were not talked about?

  14. @Leo Gura Leo how would you say is the best way to integrate stage orange? I always felt like I was green but looking deeply and also noticing the life os many of my friends, the spirituality of green stage thinks that money does not matter and all is an illusion, I feel like right now I went back to Orange to get my shit together, save up some money and buy a house just so I can free my mind to go deeper, but what I see many friends doing is living a minimalist life, not working much and focusing on the spiritual path, without any life purpose, simple easy life which I found it to be an easier way, to just live off the grids and not really try the hustle of Orange stage. Then I question myself, am I really integrating orange fully or just getting stuck in it? Are my friends thinking they are green and skipping stage orange? 

    I've watched the spiral dynamic series many times and am planning to read the book sometime soon, I considered myself to be maybe roughly 40% green, 30%orange, 25 yellow and some shades of blue..I'm vegan, a little activist, love defending the envyronment but as time went by I saw myself in need of money and kind of denying to participate in capitalism to own my place on earth, I'm also investing in my life purpose which requires me to work my ass off and not have too much time for all the spiritual practices, I still do meditation but spirituality/enlightenment is not my primary focus right now.

    Sometimes I reject attractive guys because they cannot tap into that powerful masculine energy and am attracted to ugly guys because they unleashed the beast within, and by beast I don't mean aggressiness only, but that sense that he knows what he is doing, confidence.. like Leo said women can smell insecurity from far.

    We women fantasize about a beta man, a sweet and nice guy but in practice we need that strong man power energy that only alpha men have.

    Not only that, if the guy does not tap into that energy we feel like we are not attractive enough, unfortunatetly most men who are alpha are also ass** because those are the ones who play the game well and have lots of experience. 

    Yet I can see the truth in what she says, when the guy taps into that strong man power we feel more like a woman, not that we need that from man but deep inside it's our nature and what we look for.
