  1. Enjoying the Shogun TV show.
  2. The Buddha had several enlightenments before his awakening under the Bodhi tree. This suggests that paradoxically, one can become more deeply conscious of the absolute, and also that transcending life and death requires more than a few enlightenment experiences. Maybe.
  3. Hmm. I think it's useful to first see it in yourself. Then, you can see how you actually love everyone, and so do others. Although this isn't evident or obvious. It's more existential. A bit like: without another, I can't exist. So my existence is fundamentally shaped by "other." Something to investigate.
  4. Just started watching True Vs False Skepticism.
  5. Whatever you have about the absolute is not it. Notice how language subtly influences the way you think of it as "something" that is huge, as "lots and lots". It's useful to check yourself on that.
  6. — Rinzai
  7. What is worth and what is life? We've got work to do!
  8. [Fill in with correct answer]. What does hearing an assertion change in your consciousness? At best it opens up new doors; you may even get a hint of its reality experientially. In any case, it's best to get serious with grasping one's nature, and that of life, for yourself independent of confabulation.
  9. @Razard86 Do you think it's a matter of hearing and understanding an answer? If it were that easy...
  10. "So I robbed that bank as you told me... now what?"
  11. What is desire? Can you find pain behind it?
  12. @Creatorbeing Are you high? Your posts aren't very clear. You should know that posting in such state isn't allowed.
  13. Fear is as accessible and constant for us as a condition that it stops being noticed and instead recedes into the background of our experience, subtly (or grossly) tainting our experience of everything.
  14. By attempting to modify, add to, withdraw or hide --through pretension and manipulation-- our experience of ourselves and of life, we are conceding that what is there isn't enough by itself. As a result of this relating, a continuous struggle emerges as our background condition.
  15. @Razard86 You're still holding being as an action, not as is. Here, there, when, entering, floating. Whatever you're talking about is relative and a subjective state. You might have had insight or breakthrough but it always sounds like your mind and intellect are filtering it through their set of beliefs.
  16. Hey, our shit smells too.
  17. What do you habitually apply yourself to? Apply: do, think, feel, pay attention to, consume, invest, create.
