  1. Psychedelic drug = energy issues?
    Psychedelic drug = energy issues?
    That doesn't hold up.
The US government didn't crack down on the hippies because the hippies were draining their body energy.
The US government cracked down because the hippies were starting to question all of the conservative Christian norms which held American society together.
I have yet to see any evidence that psychedelics drain your body or harms your energetic system. If you want to make such claims, bring the evidence. Serious claims require serious evidence.
My health issues are an independent variable. I've had a thyroid disease for 10 years, before I even started Actualized.org or knew about psychedelics. I've struggled with it for a long time. And as I get older my health isn't as good as it used to be.
People are far too eager to blame psychedelics for anything that goes wrong.
If I broke my leg tomorrow, people would say, "See! It's those damn psychedelics! I knew it!" Because people are looking any excuse they can find to reject psychedelics. Because psychedelics are gonna nuke that ego and deep down the ego knows it. The ego-mind needs to paint psychedelics as illegitimate. Then it's safe to play its spiritual games. A Buddhist can only keep being a Buddhist if he doesn't do enough psychedelics.

Well, that's just a practical problem. How can a teacher recommend them if they are illegal in most places? This would get the teacher in trouble. It doesn't scale. And this assumes the teacher has lots of experience with them, which none of them do because they have been so tightly controlled and demonized.
It's a catch-22. Teachers can't recommend them unless they become more widely available. And they can't become more widely available unless teachers recommend them. Thus it is a circle of ignorance. The only way to break that circle is with visionary leadership and by challenging authority, which is dangerous.

How to materialize objects, have paranormal abilities, have superpowers?
Texts have been written about how to develop siddhis. It usually involves training concentration and visualization abilities massively.
Imagine focusing so hard on a mental image of a rock that you can manifest a rock.
That's some serious fucking concentration skill. Not for the faint of heart to accomplish.

    Leo's Booklist Epistemological Ramifications
@charles1 Lol, dude, you're WAY overthinking it.
The books will blow your mind and change your life and you will never look back.
Don't be so paralyzed by avoiding bias that you are unable to take a decisive step.
Risking $35 is like the lowest risk in the world.
Reading books is not an epistemological submission to anything. I've read many books which were flat out false. And many of the books in my booklis are flat out false on many metaphysical issues. But that doesn't matter. It's all part of the process.
You can read a book on witchcraft, disagree with it, and still come out wiser and better for having read it.
You don't need to verify a book's truth before reading it. That's backwards. First you read it, then you can assess how true you think it is.
You cannot find truth unless you're willing to explore dead ends. Because you can't know ahead of time what is and what isn't a dead end. So a serious truth-seeker must have a high tolerance for risk. You gotta try stuff and fail more and faster than everyone else.
Read 200 books, and if they all turn out to be false, great! Now you know which books to avoid as you move on to read the next 200. << That's how you master life. Not through perfectionism and fear of making a mistake. I've read so many bullshit books in retrospect. They were all part of my journey to truth. There was no way I could know they were bullshit until after having read them and many years had passed.

  5. Getting over the need to be liked
Getting over the need to be liked
That’s exactly what you need. Face the fear head on multiple times so that it isn’t a problem for you anymore. The best way to grow is to face fear head on!

  6. Leo final warning message
    Leo final warning message
This actually really got me thinking.
When in victim mode I would think it applies to others, in that, I should not tolerate other people's bullshit, but when I am in truth and full honesty mode, I think it means that I need to make sure I have no tolerance for my own bullshit.
It's my own bullshit that hinders me, not the bullshit of others (although I will still get stuck in self-denial at times and insist it's other peoples bullshit that holds me back).

But many health issues have to do with lack of consciousness, lying, self-hatred, fear, emotional blockages, false worldviews, overthinking, stress, emotional abuse, etc.
Anything which can help elevate consciousness can help with healing too.
Many people have healed themselves with psychedelics. To ignore or deny the healing properties of psychedelics is to rob many people of a life-saving tool.
Awakening and healing go hand in hand because most health issues result from corrupt consciousness.

  8. Biden has come back
    Biden has come back
It's not rigged against Bernie, the majority of the country is simply not educated or developed enough to vote for Green.
In a democracy, not the best candidates wins, but the one who best matches the development level of the people. That what we're seeing. That's also why Trump won.
The simple fact is, Americans are pretty damn ignorant, so you shouldn't expect them to all of the sudden elect amazing people. That has never been the case.
What Bernie supporters and progrrssives need to understand is that they are in a bubble. The majority of the Americans are not progressive, they are moderate. "The establishment" is not just the corporations, media, and Washington, it is most of the citizens as well. The media is establishment precisely because that's what most people pay to watch, not because the media is somehow overriding the will of the people. The will of the people is just not very bright and the media reflects that. The establishment IS the people. That's what progessives are in denial about.
I see a lot of progressives in denial about thier own biases, projecting their progressive bias on the media and estblaishment. When a progressive calls the media biased, the truth is, the progressive is biased but cannot see it, so the only option is to blame the media.
Joe Biden didn't win because of a rigged media. He won because that's where most people are at. And that's a very difficult thing for progressives to admit. Progressives need to admit that most people are not progrssives. This is a more realistic starting point rather than assuming that a majority of people are progressives but some evil "establishment" is holding them back. That gets into fantastical conspiracy theory territory which fails to properly identify the problem and take responsibility for it.

  9. Did Jordan Peterson's self help philosophy cause his current issues?
Did Jordan Peterson's self help philosophy cause his current issues?
Well, he's clearly in a battle with himself, which explains his autoimmune issues. His psyche is fragmented by his judgment and demonization and bitterness. A toxic combo. Not good for one's health to be that way.

  10. Holy s***. Pick up is so tough
Holy s***. Pick up is so tough
That's exactly what's happening. But evolution takes time. We are smack dab in the middle of it.
People take evolution for granted, thinking it's something that happened a million years ago. No. It's happening right now, via you.

  11. Why is health care for all a human right?
Why is health care for all a human right?
As you do more of this work you will become more compassionate with regards to the needless suffering of others.
You need a heart awakening to really start to care about people. Most peoples' hearts are so closed and all they care about is themselves. But you cannot create a well-functioning and healthy community that way.
Imagine a family in which no one cared about the others. It would be a toxic disaster.

  12. How is Sam Harris not 100% yellow?
How is Sam Harris not 100% yellow?
I don't feel he deeply understands Green. Because he hasn't fully gone through it.
He's very rationalistic, materialistic, and moralistic.
His political positions are problematic when he does his whole Islamophobia thing and his race IQ thing.
One of the hallmarks of Yellow is non-judgment and the ability to appreciate the relativity of different perspectives. Sam has some of that, but not too deep.
Again, he def has some Yellow, but not 100% Yellow. It's pretty pointless splitting hairs over this. You're never going to know a person's entire Spiral profile. We're just making best guesses here.

  13. How did you find your skill set?
How did you find your skill set?
You have tons to work on there.
You're overlooking the obvious. That is your skill set.
You can do it and you can get very creative with it. Your thinking here is just too narrow and materialistic.
Abstract is good. Gives you lots of creative room. Your mind is just lazy with being creative. It's like you've been given a blank canvas and you are complaining there's nothing to work with.
Own your passions and get to work.

  14. Has Anyone Here Cured A Disease Using Alternative Medicine?
Has Anyone Here Cured A Disease Using Alternative Medicine?
Of course real science relies on anecdotal evidence all the time. That's what clinical trials are. It's just very rigorous.
But many fools have no idea how real science works.
But yet, many scientists are far too dismissive of any modality which doesn't have a simply material physical explanation. So they will accept anecdotal evidence for a new chemical drug, but they will not for something like acupuncture.

  15. Dating Profile with a Handsome Man
Dating Profile with a Handsome Man
My brother got married off OkCupid.
So of course it can work.
But if you don't have the look or you want to get the best girl possible, online isn't a good strategy.
If your look is above average or your standards are low, yes, you can gets plenty of dates online.
But you can attract much hotter girls in person. The hottest girls are not found online.

  16. Projections, awakening and purification
    Projections, awakening and purification
    There is.
Take a psychedelic with the intention to become conscious of all your projections, assumptions, and judgments. And be ready for a beating.
And while you're at it, become conscious of what "other" is. You may be shocked to discover that other itself is nothing but your projection.

  17. Dating Profile with a Handsome Man
Dating Profile with a Handsome Man
This is totally true because online dating is 100% about looks. Nothing else matters.
When you post a pic of yourself online, that's all you're reducing yourself down to.
If you are not a classically handsome guy, this is a terrible strategy for you because you are not displaying your other great qualities. Your strategy must be to get hot girls in-person with your personality, not your looks. Girls respond very differently in-person.
Online is the lazy man's game. If you are lazy with game, don't be surprised when your results look lazy too.
The bulk of a man's attractiveness is in his personality and the life he's built. So to reduce yourself to a profile pic is like selling a diamond at a dollar store.

  18. Question about Open-Mindedness and Skepticism
    Question about Open-Mindedness and Skepticism
Openmindedness is the opposite of belief.
Belief is a closing of the mind.
Openmindedness does not mean believing in wacky stuff.

  19. Feelings Towards A Friend (how Can I Get Rid Of Unwanted Feelings)
Feelings Towards A Friend (how Can I Get Rid Of Unwanted Feelings)
So, I have this problem that really takes a lot of my emotional energy, and distracts my attention from what I really have to be doing.
I am 20 years old guy, and haven't had a girlfriend ever, I hardly even had female friends. 1 year ago, when I went to collage, my social life had changed. I've met a lot of new people, get a lot of new friends and etc. I gained communication skills, and I've found out that I am quite good in communicating with people and generally in socializing. So, what's the problem you may ask. There is this girl, which I have known for 13 years and haven't been very close most of this time. I was very shy with her and barely ever talked with her (she was my classmate btw). After entering collage, I didn't get to see her everyday as I used to in high school, but after 1 year of collage (and developing nice communication skills) I restored quite a friendly relationship with her, and I have been talking to her for like 1 year everyday, with social networks or in person. I feel really good talking to her, but the thing is, I have some kind of weird feelings with her, she is very nice to me and I am very sensitive with this (again, I haven't had a relationship with a girl EVER before). I don't really know what guys mean when they say that they "love" a girl, but the feeling I feel makes me want to talk to her every day. And the thing is, I don't want this to be this way. I know exactly what she thinks about me, and I don't want to create illusions in my head (but they keep popping up, in spite of my resisting). I don't want to feel anything towards her, because I know her answer already, if she ever finds out what's happening in my head. The worst is, that strange feeling distracts my attention from my studies and personal development. I can hardly do anything during the day when I can't talk to her. How can this be healthy? I can't even find another girl to have a relationship, because of my limiting beliefs, on which I am working on, and I will definitely fix that, but what should I do with this feeling I feel towards this girl? :\
Thanks for reading this, and if you've read this, please suggest me anything you think would be appropriate to do.

  20. How to be good at business
How to be good at business
There exist hundreds of high quality (and expensive) business trainings and courses.
There are courses for literally any kind of business you might want to start.
Of course a course alone will not result in you having a successful biz. You will have to be creative about building it and go way beyond any course. But the courses are important for getting some theoretical foundation and tips about how business and marketing works.
You cannot start a business without doing massive research and study.
You must learn marketing. There cannot be business without marketing.

  21. 2.8g Magic Mushroom Trip Report - Dark Skies
2.8g Magic Mushroom Trip Report - Dark Skies
@cle103 This was a great trip and the perfect one for you.
Just sit with it for a while. Mull it over. Integrate it, and your next trips will take you into love and beauty and paradise.
You must clear out the shadow to make room for the light. So don't get down. This was perfect! Your psyche is simply being purified for the awesomeness to come if you keep going.
Self-forgiveness is crucial in this work. You must forgive others and yourself so that your heart can open.
The skies are only dark because of the clouds

  22. My Enlightenment Self-deception
    My Enlightenment Self-deception
Yes, this is very common. This is the whole path. If there wasn't some kind of resistance it would be too easy.
I've found that it's crucial to get really clear about what you want -- why do you want awakening? -- and to do deep introspection about what is holding you back. What are all the things you're attached to which keep you from living in God-consciousness? Make a list. It's gonna be a long list. That's all the stuff you gotta work to let go of and heal.
Healing yourself and making yourself whole is very important and not to be overlooked in this work.
You're not gonna be able to sustain God-consciousness is you're tainted with all sorts of fears, judgments, wounds, traumas, grudges, anger, cravings, ideologies, etc.
You have to reach a level of inner purity where you are ready to say, "Okay, I freely surrender myself in the service of God. This is no longer about me and my petty cravings and grievances. I'm willing to surrender the self for good and to live selflessly in the service of others. I want God more than anything else in the world."

  23. Biology merging with spirtuality
    Biology merging with spirtuality
@Leo Gura to add onto this, my pathology professor told us she knew of a person who healed their lymphoma by imagining healing immunity cells  everyday. And that she could tell us more about it but only after work hours because its too risky to speak of such things in a clinical environment

  24. Innate value
    Innate value
@Buba You are already the true self. Like I said, do some inspection of any arising thought or belief which feels less that awesome, by writing about it on a pad of paper.   Don’t fall for the pattern of distraction from doing this...such as continuing to talk about doing this. Actually do it.

  25. Practical Tips on Dealing with the Academic Paradigm as a College Student?
Practical Tips on Dealing with the Academic Paradigm as a College Student?
@TrynaBeTurquoise Society will always ask you to jump through its hoops and conform to its standards if you're playing within its game. By entering university you implicitly agreed to play its game.
Since you only have a few semesters left, just suck it up until you're out and free.
And unless you're going to grad school, your grades don't mean shit. Literally no one in the real world will care. No one will even care that you got a degree. It means nothing in the real world.
