I can't believe how people can be so ignorant and blind. I feel like no amount of talking could take them out of their wrong view.
Here is the text:
« Someone recently asked me why I like Trump. My answer was that I don't really like a lot of things about Trump.
But this election is not about choosing the most likeable person.
We are voting between two vastly different ideologies. We are voting for the country we want to leave our children and grandchildren.
Trump represents that future and has proven that he can deliver. He is a patriot to the core and even served his country for 4 years without pay.
That moment when someone says,
"I can't believe you're voting for Trump". I simply reply, “I'm NOT voting for Trump.”I'm voting for the First Amendment and freedom of speech. I'm voting for the right to speak my opinion and not be censored.
I’m voting for secure borders and LEGAL immigration. I am voting for election integrity to include mandatory voter ID. (Why would anyone vote against this?)
I'm voting for the Second Amendment and my right to defend my life and my family.
I'm voting for the police to be respected once again.
I am voting for law & order and an end to allowing protesters to trespass and burn our cities, destroying innocent small business. (Tim Walz)
I am voting for personal responsibility and the end of the revolving door where criminals are being put back on the street. (Kamala Harris)
I'm voting for the next Supreme Court Justice(s) to protect the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.
I’m voting for a return of our troops from foreign countries and the end to America’s involvement in foreign conflicts.
I'm voting for the Electoral College and for the Republic in which we live.
I’m voting for the continued appointment of Federal Judges who respect the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.
I’m voting for keeping our jobs to remain in America and not be outsourced all over the world - to China, Mexico and other foreign countries.
I am voting for doing away with all of the freebies given to all of the illegals and not looking after the needs of the American citizens and homeless veterans.
I'm voting for the military & the veterans who fought for this country
I'm voting to keep men out of women's sports.
I’m voting for peace progress in the Middle East.
I’m voting to fight against human/child trafficking.
I'm voting for Freedom of Religion.
I am voting for the return of teaching math, history, and science instead of the indoctrination of our children.
I'm not just voting for one person.
I'm voting for the future of my Country.I'm voting for my children and my grandchildren to ensure their freedoms
America is the greatest country in the world, hense why everyone wants to immigrate here. So why do you want to change it?
Why do politicians want to enact policies that have failed in other countries throughout history?I’m voting for Trump.
I'm voting for America.Copied and pasted keep it going »

And make some guy friends?
Girls are not supposed to fill a man's socialization needs. That's what guy friends are for.
Agreed, learned this the hard way and it had HUGE drawbacks. At the end of the day your woman is your woman, she’s at your side in times of victory and defeat, but she’s not your buddy!

During my CrossFit class the other day, we did overhead squats. One thing I noticed with these is that they are extremely difficult, even with an empty bar. As someone who can easily bang out front/back squats with 25s on each side, I find that I can barely do an empty 35 lb bar on overhead squats. Has anyone experienced this before? I’m just surprised that at such low weight, I still struggled with the movement, constantly losing balance and moving forward.

Why do I feel like these so called stage blue patriots love their country at one moment, but then if they don’t agree with the dominant politics of their countries they immediately get up move to RUSSIA of all places. Look if some of these people who move to Russia feel that “hey the west is getting too diverse, our cultures are dying, let’s go to Russia as it’s still culturally dominated by Christianity”, I respect that. But don’t say that you love America and Canada, but move to Russia to “become Russian”. It’s just so absurd. I really don’t get with some of these folks. I’m sure they are good people, but I think they are overly misled.

It’s a fucking witch hunt by the state of Tamil Nadu. The current chief minister’s party in the state (similar to a governor) tends lean very radical Maoist/Marxist, and are firm believers of dravidianism (the idea that the Tamil people are separate from the rest of the Indian population.) My theory is that this was a political play, as the state and its government has always tried to undercut Sadhguru, and other Hindu gurus as well. There’s a wave of anti-Hinduism in the state, and thousands of beautiful, thousand plus year old temples have fallen in the hands of these corrupt crooks. As someone who has followed Indian, especially South Indian, politics, this does not come as a surprise. Now I’m not saying the accusations are false, but I’m not surprised if they turn out to be 🤷🏽♂️

You can’t expect a country like Poland to open up to immigrants the same way the us has opened up to immigrants. What makes Poland Poland is the distinct culture of the ethnic poles. Nothing wrong with having a homogenous country, sometimes one has to be open to look at the world from not just one paradigm.

I think he was cutting down by about 20% every other week and took him about 3 months to quit altogether with a few ups and downs. Hope it'll work out for you/

@Michael569 do you know how your friend’s dental health is as of quitting?

This guy can’t even admit to basic FACTS. So sad to see how far the MAGA crowd is willing to twist truth to maintain their racial agendas.

Update: I plan on quitting cigarettes sometime this week. Bought nicotine gum and zyns to help with initial cravings. Wish me luck!

I assume you had to override some form of self preservation instinct since you've been a member of the forum for a while...is it because of a girl you were dating? That's how buddy of mine took it on for example.
I actually took it up after I broke up with my girlfriend some four months ago haha

I would ask chatGPT in your shoes for specific answers.
An effective and quick and relatively safe solution for teeth whitening is to use carbamide peroxide (35%ish) gel which you can find on amazon and rub on your teeth surface before going to bed (try not to swallow it).
But the main thing is to just stop smoking, lol. It does nothing but rob from your future self. It's only a few steps removed from heroin.
Yea I’m starting to learn just how addictive it is

Ever since I started smoking cigarettes since this past may, and I have noticed significant changes in my teeth. I’ve noticed a line of slight grayness on my lower gum, right under my teeth, some hard to clear plaque between the teeth, and an overall yellowing, more yellow than before. Even though I’ve been smoking for only three months, are these symptoms bounds to happen to my teeth after smoking?

How is it that my friends are able to attend BEAUTIFUL campuses, that are far more prestigious than I will ever be able to enter. I'm very insecure about how ugly my school's (University of Maryland, Baltimore County) campus is. I mean, just look at there's:
Pretty campuses, with raging social party scenes and rich social lives, Universities that are much more prestigious and difficult to enter. My friend who attends University of Michigan, I bet you she got more than a thousand on her SAT. She's majoring in Biomedical Engineering, I bet you she was able to pass Calculus I with a C or higher. I bet you she's also going to graduate on time, and when she does, immediately enter a high-paying job thanks to her internships. MEANWHILE I'm going to graduate late with a Sociology degree that I don't know what to do with career wise. People around me where genuinely surprised that I was at my age and still taking Calculus I.
I'm behind and inferior to people who not only attend fancy colleges, but people who attend my college.
From the outside world it doesn’t matter. I know Harvard grads who work in coffee shops (not that that’s a bad thing). Stop comparing with your friends and focus on your life. Trust me, life is a fun crazy adventure bro, especially after school, you will look back and laugh at just how small things were. If your friends judge you for not meeting certain standards in any case, then just know they are not friends. At the end of the day, friends are there to support one another, and if your friends are real, they will give you the same respect they give themselves.

5 minutes ago, Husseinisdoingfine said:Is watching the radical open mindedness video a good fit for what I'm dealing with right now?
Go for it. I actually dropped out of college, and you know what? I still make good money working as a software developer. Point is you got a lot of options in this day and age. Now throw that rope away 🙂
-
@Husseinisdoingfine I know it’s tough. I completely understand the feeling you are going through. The feeling of being drained out, the feeling that you may not make it out of college, it’s a tough feeling. Trust me, I’ve been there, it’s this constant anxiety of falling behind. But just know that your worth and value as a human is not based on whether you do your calculus properly or not. Your worth are your values. As long as you are a good person at heart, you are not a failure. There are people in this lifetime you love you. You have a forum full of conscious individuals who support you and your growth. You are not alone, we are here. School is just one part of life. At the end of the day, we all can grow, from an average joe to someone with 10 PHDs. You can grow. You are young and you have a lot of potential. You are on this forum at such a young age, you definitely have HUGE potential. Just trust yourself, and take now as a challenge, it’s okay if you fail, it’s fine and you will love yourself, but try the challenge. You will kill it in life!

I'm honestly not interested in this girl as a romantic partner, all I want to do is act normally around her so that I feel more comfortable at work.
If I am constantly thinking about her looking at me, then I must really care about what she thinks about me. That must be the root issue, but I'm just not sure how to deal with it.
Any advice?
Just be unapologetically you. Don’t worry about anything else. And if certain sexual/romantic do arise, just shoot your shot. The shots you make are the shots you take

Does going out with a specific kind of group affect your game? I happened to go to a club in Valencia with my cousins, and I did rizz up a few Italian and Dutch girls, but my cousins seemed to always discourage my moves. It was very frustrating. Is this the reason why you need a good wing when going out and doing pick?
