13 hours ago, Anton Rogachevski said:I would really be hesitant to call this stage green. I personally know people who I believe are stage green, they are sweethearts, just being in their presence is giving you spiritual energy. Political Left is the opposite of that.
Taking Post-modernistic beliefs to extreme and being dogmatic about them sounds more like blue, yet a modern version of it. Blue Reborn, with a Green cloak.Excellently put

@ilja yea, they were neglected by their parent who is The Soviet Union

Not that this completely pertains to the topic, but isn't eastern Europe HIGHLY xenophobic from the start? I know a lot of people who were warned to not travel to some countries (Poland, Ukraine, Russia to name a few), as xenophobic attacks towards visible minorities in those countries happen in broad daylight. I read somewhere that a lot of neo-nazi groups thrive in these countries, (it is said that Russia has nearly 50% of the world's neo nazi skinhead population, but I guess that doesn't pertain to this context as Russia is a non-EU nation), so I guess its not surprising that the elected officials of those nations reflect the racist, xenophobic, and highly nationalistic sentiments of their societies.

@Arcangelo I don't know if you are just trying to be a troll (if so, what are you doing in this forum in the first place?) Also here are some violent movements that happened in the name of Christianity: KKK, Azov Battalion, the pograms carried out by the black hundreds in Russia, the Nazis (big part of their agenda was to promote the lutheran identity), every white supremacist/neo nazi group out there, shooting at abortion clinics, the idea of criminalizing abortion, do I really have to continue?

@Yahya Leo did a whole video on Islam….I recommend watching that.

This film pretty much sums up stage orange in 2.5 hours:

@Leo Gura If I'm going to be honest, isn't that assumption from you a bit condescending? What if he does? I mean he is an AI researcher from MIT....so maybe he does have the cognitive capability to at least FATHOM what you have to say. I'm not saying you should go on his podcast (you probably don't care for that publicity anyways), it's just that assumption in itself is very condescending.
P.S. I still find your content EXTREMEMELY eye opening and has been helpful in my own life, but I also believe in the power of constructive criticism

@Preety_India yea you actually are right on that front. He was the former executive chairmen though.

This is a BS attempt at mocking SJWs.....quite literally what it is. I understand that some aspects of PC culture can feel a bit annoying for some of our egos (the OCCASIONAL criticism of men staring/picking up woman), but most of those things in the video are exaggeration. If I was not an informed person, watching this video would lead me to believe that PC culture will somehow lead to a dystopic, Marxist future. At best, this video does a HORRIBLE impression of some people in spiral dynamics stage green

I do believe in cognitive development, but it seems at times to paint this picture that each nation is just evolving independently of each other. If one country is highly undeveloped, it has nothing to do with what developed nations are doing. It has nothing to do with how developed nations may actually be causing undeveloped nations to struggle. It doesn't seem to account for centuries of imperialism and exploitation.
I agree. People forget that for most of history, black people, (those living here in the US, the Caribbean, and to some extent in Africa) were practically raped of their cultures due to slavery/colonialism. Even in Africa (west and central Africa to be specific), many nations were created as a result of Western Imperialist powers drawing up arbitrary borders, which resulted in many warring tribes being stuck together in one nation. Any one with a brain knows that when this happens, war and infighting is inevitable. What happened in Rwanda, with the rwandan genocide, is a perfect example of a post imperial side effect.

@Preety_India Breitbart is more right wing than fox news haha. The man who created it, Steve Bannon, is an actual figure in the alt right and white nationalist circles.

@goldpower123 yea....none of them
Every cable news channel out there has some agenda, whether it be pushing propaganda or increasing their ratings. Have you noticed, especially with local news, that they over exaggerate each and every story? I just stopped watching the news all together. If you want to know what's going on in the world, I would suggest subscribing to BBC, Reuters, or Wall Street Journal (though they do have their own biases, they are no where near as bad as CNN, Fox, MSNBC, to name a few).

@kamill Engineering school definitely drains the hell out of my creative thinking.

So I am currently a senior finishing up my degree in Computer Science, and I still don't know where I want to end up in the field. I interned at the same company during all my summer breaks during my time in college, but I feel like sticking to this one company limits my options. On one hand, I am guaranteed a job at this place, assuming I contact them again, but on the other hand I feel that my knowledge in the industry is rather limited. In this company, my work was mostly limited to front end web development (building front end components using Angular to be specific), but I am also interested in other fields, such as backend development and technical architecture (this is like product development/management). And because I limited my experience to front end development, I became complacent and lost my motivation to challenge and pursue higher goals. I used to go out of my way to work on personal project or improve my technical skills, but now I use that time by binge watching tv or doing other non-productive things (and worst of all, I beat myself up for doing this). Over the years, I went from being a highly motivated student, too a rather lazy and unfocussed one. And now, with job/internship applications, I've lost all confidence in my technical skill, leading to me not even apply to some of these companies. I used to have this creative instinct when it came to writing code (for work and school), but now that all went out the window, and I almost always do my programming assignments just to finish and get a grade on them. It got to the point to where I even stopped practicing my existing technical skills, and forgetting a lot things I used to be good at, i.e. Angular and Java. How can I bring that creative inspiration I used to have back? Can I still pursue higher goals in my career even after joining and working at some mediocre company? Or have my dreams of working at a top company/creating a start up have been shattered?

I know in google docs and Microsoft word, you can create a new resume template (they have many)

So I've been thinking about using a psychedelic for self-introspective purposes, and I was deciding between psylocibin or LSD. For someone who has never done psychedelic trips before, which one should I start with first? Also, as someone who used to smoke a TON of weed before, would I react differently to these substances, or would my weed tolerance not matter at all?

Honestly, I think its good to know that I'm a "fool", as it only motivates me to learn and grow more

You have to realize that most people, (some of us here included) would technically fall under spiral dynamic stage orange. A part of that means being very opportunistic. Yes, there are politicians like AOC, bernie, and Ro Khanna who do push policies that one could say fall under "green", but this is relatively rare in this country. Also the large sums of donations these politicians receive does not help at all, as once you accept a donation, you have some what of an "obligation". I think its just that mainstream society is orange, and politicians, or anyone for that matter, will act according to those tendenancies.

@Leo Gura Agreed
.....sometimes its necessary to flush the shit down the toilet, makes the bowl clean.

@Nahm Great advice! I have no problem being turned on by woman, (if I see a really attractive woman, my attraction will become embarrassingly obvious), but I guess it definitely has to do being in my head too much. It is also probably important to note that I only had two hours, as my parents were coming back home after that. I guess next time I should try to make the surroundings prior to sex for relaxed and fun, rather than rushed and something to "just get over with". It could also be that I had this thing in my head to lose my virginity as soon as possible, so I guess might have not helped in this case.

So recently, I was having sex with my girlfriend, and this was the first I was having sex (penetration to be specific) in general. Everything was going great, as we were kissing and performing other sexual acts. The problem came when it came time for penetration, as I was too soft to even penetrate. It was rather embarrassing at the moment, and had to come up with an excuse saying that "masturbated an hour before". As I am only 22 years old, I know the problem can't be ED. But is this normal? How can I prevent this from happening the next time I have sex? I apologize if this post is rather explicit, but assuming that this forum is consists mostly of adults, I am going with the assumption that this topic can be discussed in a mature and constructive way.

I am not one to be pro-intervention, but I definitely do think this has to be one of the center stage issues that the UN and other nations should address.
