  1. @thenondualtankie Now go talk to hundred girls, same as you, plan to do so, still thinking about how to get started, haha
  2. If you're talking about Kriya Yoga, if things get out of control or you needed a guidance along your journey, Sadhguru will not help you at all.
  3. Let's make it simpler, Lets define spirituality as just "a direct experience of what the truth is", whatever it might be, No dogma's, no worshiping system, no God etc. very pure, very dry. How this can be seen in future as a system of faith or religion? In what sense? Btw about this definition of relegion, simply a religious person doesn't search or seek, they just believe the system, they do, either because of the fear or the rewards or both promised in the relegion or faith community, In what system you saw a religious person in a state of seeking or searching? This definition doesn't really apply to many relegions specialy the world relegions.
  4. What you think relegion and spirituality is by definition? I've wrote what I think it is, so let me know what you think these are by definition, And we can continue to discuss from there. Forget about academical views on these, I personally don't care since they don't know what they're talking about.
  5. But in your video about it, you said that it gave you such a calm thought-free state of mind you've never experienced before, why you don't like it now? Doing the practices In such calm, concentrated state of mind can be very effective.
  6. @Leo Gura If there wasn't dangers associated with Ketamine, you could utilize it in your practices, such that you take some doses to effectively calm down your mind and in that state the spiritual practices could becomes very effective.
  7. lol, You don't even know that you've taken a psychedelic in that state, or if you'll ever come back to the ego state.
  8. I don't know, I don't want to engage in any other form of yoga just to see the energy rises to even another levels and screw me up totally.
  9. I'm dealing with it, still the same side effects except no intense headaches, I've attended a hatha yoga class a while ago and it's a bit better. The most annoying thing about the Kundalini is that it's always present in my experience, I haven't had a single day from the day it awakened that I didn't feel any energy. Forget about meditations, If you sit in quite and read a book, the calmness causes the Kundalini to rise up (it's always there but the intensity varies depending on your activities) it usually concentrates on head which makes it challenging to think once so much energy rises up and or makes you sleepy, feeling woozy, hallucinating, and painful in that area sometimes. Though, I've stoped the practices long ago, the energies only rises more and more as time did pass. I could tell him how I'm doing with my practices and how I feel and then he would give me the watered-down version of the techniques to suite me better for my specific situation, then everything would've been much more controllable and better for me, I didn't have to deal with any of these! 🙂
  10. In short I was very sensitive to the practices I mean I quickly felt the energies and it all worked and excited me to dive deeply into it (it was mind-blowing and so exciting to find out it was all real), this quickly awakned my Kundalini, the energies then started to rise up to the head causing lots of headaches at those days, pain in the spine and some other side effects resulting of the energy functioning totally on its own still present. I stoped all practices long ago but once the Kundalini is awakened it can get only stronger and release more and more energies as time pass by. I believe experienced yogis or gurus gain some control over these energies, unlike Leo I don't think they're powerless when it comes to these stuff, so surely they can help.
  11. Nothing for sure. But he is not the only one, I'm just saying just because it's hard to access one genuine one you shouldn't do it yourself and enter this territory which you have no clue what would happen to you if things get out of your control I did it myself on my own and I wish I didn't do it at all, but I was reckless with my practices... And there's no way to put the Kundalini back to sleep, at least out of our control.
  12. I believe this where guru is important, Kriya Yoga can stimulate your Kundalini and awaken it easily resulting in release of immense energies that you cant control that could cause pain in the spine, dizziness and or hallucinations and some other side effect and in worst cases burn your nervous system, guru can help you manage all this. I was stupid with my practices (didn't take the warnings serious at all) and now I'm suffering some side effects of it for years.
  13. Yes, the being, awareness, consciousness, life does exist in any states, only that whitch appears also disappears, And yes its absolute because it can never cease to exist, And being cannot be a quality because it's that which give rise to anything including all qualities. I'm always talking about one Reality which has many names, being, awareness, consciousness, life, God etc.
  14. You don't know forms or creations in deep sleep but you exist, so it's another appearance withing the Reality, So no it's not absolute, only the pure being or existence or the screen as the OP has mentioned is absolute, free from all qualities.
  15. @Carl-Richard we can go deeper, but I don't know what would be the outcome of this discussion, if you wanna continue discuss how spirituality compared to relegion, to eventually conclude that they are in one category let's just agree to disagree.
  16. Just as the sun's light permeates and illuminates everything without being directly seen, Awareness or Consciousness or The Reality is exactly like it, the underlying essence that illuminates the experiences and perceptions without being directly observable itself. Just that You can actually directly observe it, by being it, cause you are it, you are those invisible rays that illuminates everything, the flow of the experiences, you are the sun itself. In the depths of the mind, where shadows dance, Lies a light unseen, a silent trance. consciousness, like an invisible sun, Illuminates the journey just begun. Its rays, they pierce through layers deep, Where dreams and thoughts in secret sleep. In every moment, it softly glows, Guiding us through life's ebbs and flows. Though unseen to the naked eye, It's presence felt as time drifts by. A beacon in the darkness, pure and bright, Guiding us through day and night. Like the sun that reigns above, Filling the world with warmth and love, Consciousness, a radiant force, Guides our path, our steady course. Though veiled in mystery, it remains, A silent witness to joys and pains. Invisible yet ever near, Shining brightly, without fear. So let us honor this guiding light, That leads us through the darkest night. For in its glow, we find our way, Through the cycles of night and day. Credit: poem generated by gpt.
  17. That which exists and is conscious and is aware of himself as The Reality or Awareness, doesn't arise, existence doesn't arise, anything else does in it and is not real. Awareness does purely exists as just life, consciousness, knowing nothing but himself, we can imagine all kinds of qualities it might have or not have, but the truth is, it's free from all of it, pure awareness, existence is the Reality which is absolute in it's nature beyond anything the mind projects into it.
  18. It's possible exactly because its called The Reality, the existence of it is not a quality of it but the nature of it. It's simple for me, the appearances has nothing to do with who I am as Reality, My existence is undeniable in any three states (waking, dreaming, deep dreamless sleep) So my presence is absolutely necessary for anything in my consciousness to appear and disapear, In order for you to be possible to question or think about the fact about your existence you first have to exist!!!
  19. No, the energies clears up the pathways out of impurities and blockages and let the chakras to blossom, making it possible for the Kundalini energy to awaken gradually and make it's way up to the crown chakra and from there it opens the gate to connect to the universal consciousness leading to immense changes in ones state of consciousness.
  20. Please take the warning very serious, yes the dangers are very real. Obviously everyones experience is unique but Kriya Yoga is the most intense form of Yoga, also you need to practice hatha yoga for a while to prepare the body to handle the current of energies otherwise your energetic system could easily burn and mess you up totally.
  21. Simply the practices causes the energies to awaken and work their way to the crown chakra from the root chakra, This leads to massive shift in ones state of consciousness and obviously this sticks to you. Note that Kriya Yoga is extremely intense and can't be compared to regular meditation practices like mindfulness or do nothing. This is something that changes everything in you at physical and spiritual levels to lead to the higher states of consciousness. This stuff is intense, and needs to be done under the supervision of a guru.
  22. @Princess Arabia Very good, if you've seen the reality behind the experience in an experience (you've awakened to it), then the work from this point is to keep seeing it, until it comes to the forground, otherwise you'll easily forget all these by going about your worldy stuff. Keep seeing the Awareness or Reality , aware, Keep seeing the light of Awareness shining nonstop while aware of the experiences that continuious.
  23. Psychedelics can show you what is possible, what Kriya Yoga can do is a gradual change in one's state of consciousness by awakening one's spiritual energies.
  24. Finding that balance between your inner spiritual world and the physical world could be tricky, reading spiritual texts, quotes, participating in spiritual conversations, spiritual practices helps to balance it out, if not your consciousness will continue it's subtle shift that probably is happening by maybe overworking and engaging too much in worldy stuff.
