  1. Leo - are you in ‘Permanent Non-dual Awareness’?
Leo - are you in ‘Permanent Non-dual Awareness’?
I think a lot of people confuse liberation with God Awakening, and they are just not the same things at all.
Personally, after experiencing God Awakening, I stopped caring about liberation. To me that's a spiritual game that Buddhists love to play. They are trying to act like The Buddha, which to me is not true Awakening. I do not purse Awakening to escape suffering or the world of form. I pursue self-understanding.
I think he would realize a new level of Awakening and shit his diaper.

No, that won't be enough to reach the highest levels.
But it can be great practice.
It's gonna depend a lot on you. Whatever works for you.
Personally I don't like practices where I have to force myself to do something. To me harsh discipline doesn't feel loving or right. I don't like that brutal Zen approach to spirituality. But some people do.
These days I prefer effortless approaches. The danger with that is, you can get lazy with it. So I certainly see the value of discipline. But ultimately I want my life to be so smooth and effortless that I don't have to force myself to do anything. So that's what I'm working towards. If I have to discipline myself all the time, to me that isn't the highest level of being. Life should be effortless.

I don't see him questioning what reality is. I see him enjoying the vibes but this is not gonna take him deep enough.
Contemplation is crucial. Martin Ball overlooks this point in favor of dancing around. I don't dance around. I contemplate and quesiton.
I wouldn't say it was some chemical synergy. It's just that as I explore consciousness more from many different angels my understanding becomes more and more holistic.
There is definitely a benefit to tripping with different substances so you can appreciate the full range of what consciousness can do.
The problem with stuff like meditation is that it's so one-dimensional. You never see the full range.
Smoke some salvia or DMT and you will see how insane consciousness can get.
I will be working on a course I think.
And weekly videos too of course.

Probably long and intense concentration practices.
    Maybe Kriya yoga.

I am enlightend. I will answer your questions for a short while.
Hello everyone. A few months ago I used to visit this forum regularly, but I decided to stop for various reasons. At the time I have already had many spiritual experiences, but still had doubts regarding my actual understanding - or "enlightenment" so to speak. Well I can now confidently say that I have gotten the full picture and woken up as they say. The realization came in a flash when I fully realized what exactly is meant by "it all happens within you". Basically, I became aware of how reality exists within consciousness rather than vice-versa - or how consciousness or "you" is really the only thing there is. This idea is sometimes worded as "I am that I am" or "Jehova (That/You I am)" etc, but really, how it is called is not important, rather it's important to become cognizant of it directly, and in the moment.
Anyways, my purpose here is that I am going to be briefly available to answer some questions. I do this as a sort of thank you to this community, since I have asked numerous questions here myself, and I thought it would be nice to return the favor since I am in a position to finally be useful to seekers.
So ask your questions and I will come around and answer as many as I can before i move on again.
One thing: I am not here to play mind games or to be tested. Feel free to ask whatever you wand, but I will only answer questions which I feel will be beneficial to the questioner to hear an answer for.

  6. Another Critique on Actualized.org
    Another Critique on Actualized.org
It all depends. There are many possibilities:
    1) The guru is just an abusive asshole and a fake.
    2) The guru is somewhat awakened but still full of egoic impurities, not having finished his development and mastery.
    3) The guru genuinely believes he's helping his students. Maybe he is helping, maybe not. This can vary.
    4) The guru is genuinely helping his students but his students take it personally, have an ego-backlash, and project a lot of their own shit on the guru. In this case the guru is totally fine, but the student is just not capable of handling the teachings. The student is in over his head and lashes out at the guru.
    5) The accusations are exaggerated or entirely false. The student may misunderstand what the guru was doing.
    6) There may simply be a misalignment between the guru's style and the student's style. Which could easily be solved by finding a different guru without disparaging the old guru.
All the above can happen. Rarely are things black and white. Rarely is a guru a total fake.

@Mongu9719 Forget 5meo, psychs are not even mandatory. All paths are valid, I've done it with a combination. I know its hard and the mind wants to play it all smart and shit but really you are just spinning your wheels.
I was literally in your shoes some years ago saying to Leo stuff like "spirituality is immoral" because such and such.
It's just the ego-mind trying to stay the same, it's a self-deception that keeps you the same. Why do you even trust your mind?
@Leo Gura Yesterday's video resonated so deep because most of the insights you mentioned I also had and I couldn't stop laughing.
Also Leo after my last glimpse I could say my everyday suffering and thoughts reduced 95% without exaggeration but I wouldn't consider myself enlightened. The mind is perfectly clear and focused and everyday experience is microdose-like. How do you even quantify enlightenment?
    * Leo, go to a temple please, you may have ignored serious spiritual technology

@Mongu9719 Apparently you've never heard of the saying: pursue enlightenment like your hair is on fire.
Enlightenment is not reached by dabblers. You underestimate how serious this work is.
Serious spirituality is not without risks. You have to want it more than you want to live. Which explains why it is rare.

  11. Did I just have an ego death?
Did I just have an ego death?
@Endangered-EGO What you are missing is the obvious: that you are God. And also what God is.
These are deeper, more advanced kinds of awakening which require a lot of purification and profound levels of contemplation and questioning. And ultimately a state change is required. You cannot access God from your current state of consciousness.
You are on the right track, you just have to go much deeper.
If you did some 20 to 50 psychedelic trips, that would start to clear up the God question. Just start  Keep going.
Meditation is not good enough. You need to upgrade your neurotransmitters.

  14. My Review of Inner Engineering: Pros and Cons
My Review of Inner Engineering: Pros and Cons
Actually, yes. (But hopefully less of an asshole).
Actualized.org was deliberately designed to be an open-source spiritual platform.
That is one reason I advocate psychedelics. Once you have a supply of 5-MeO-DMT, you no longer need me or Actualized.org
The most important function of 5-MeO-DMT is that it democratizes spirituality in a way that no guru can. With access to 5-MeO-DMT you no longer need to look up to gurus for answers. You become your own guru.
The difference is that on an Actualized.org forum you can freely discuss Sadhguru's programs. But on an Isha forum you would not be discussing other spiritual programs. It would be discouraged. Very few spiritual schools encourage the cross-comparison of all other spiritual schools. Most of them discourage it out of self-bias. Most of them don't even care to understand anything outside the school.
In the end, closed spiritual systems will not be good enough for mankind's evolution. The future will require cross-understanding between all spiritual schools, as the world becomes too global and interconnected for anything less.

  15. New 6-Part Osho Cult Documentary Just Out On Netflix
New 6-Part Osho Cult Documentary Just Out On Netflix
    A) Awakening to Truth does not necessarily end all suffering or pain.
    B) Chemical addictions (like alcohol) can be very stubborn and will not change by seeing Truth alone.
    C) There are many degrees of awakening. While Alan Watts clearly had some degree of awakening, I doubt he had Buddha-like abiding nondual awareness or a perpetual state of Nirvana.
    D) Awakening alone WILL NOT transform or develop the self. It will not clear all the chakras, all the bad habits, it will not fix all the mind's neuroses, it will not make you a good person, and it will not produce emotional mastery or life mastery. Many psychological problems can be distinct from existential understanding.
    E) After awakening, life must go on. Boredom can still set in and alcohol could be a nice distraction for some. After all, what is there to do, really? After awakening there is no need to do anything. There is not even the need to do good or be good.
    F) You have no control over anything. Whatever happens is inevitable. Alan Watts had no ability to stop anything. Whatever the universe has in store for you, is what will happen, and you are surrendered to that.
Basically, stop expecting enlightenment to make you superman or a saint, or to fix all your Earthly problems.

  16. New 6-Part Osho Cult Documentary Just Out On Netflix
New 6-Part Osho Cult Documentary Just Out On Netflix
The body and mind has addictions and habits which will continue long after enlightenment in many cases.
Of course enlightenment is helpful for getting you more consciousness over your addictions, but that doesn't automatically end addictions.
Alan Watts seemed to have some degree of awakening and yet seemed to be an alcoholic.
After various awakening experiences I've had, my internet and smartphone addictions, for example, did not magically disappear. I could still feel the mind and body mechanically reaching for my phone or the internet. The brain's job is to maintain the body's survival, and that means lots of bias towards homeostasis regardless of whatever truth you've just seen.
After all, after enlightenment, chop wood, carry water. The dream must go on, and as long as you're inside the dream, you are subject to it rules.

This should be an interesting watch. Sounds like they have some rare behind-the-scenes footage.
Haven't seen it yet, but sounds like Osho fans will be disappointed, although I doubt the documentary makers understand the power of what enlightenment is. How could they unless they have awoken themselves?
P.S. I am still waiting for you guys to buy me my first Roll's Royce

  18. New 6-Part Osho Cult Documentary Just Out On Netflix
New 6-Part Osho Cult Documentary Just Out On Netflix
The two are not mutually exclusive.
Osho was reckless AND the government probably put him on thier shit list.
It's the government's job to maintain a sense of dualistic reality on behalf of their egoic population.
We cannot have a guru becoming too popular. He will always be taken down once his influence starts to destablize the status quo enough.
Gurus must keep a low profile. Not rock the boat too much. Which is why gurus are traditionally confined to a small isolated community which never gets mainstream coverage so the populace at large has no idea such things as awakening are possible.
