  1. Hehehe... you remembered that one, huh?
  2. It is through finitude that infinity gets to experience itself. So finite and infinite are two sides of the same coin... and the coin could not exist without both of these sides. Reject one side, and you reject the entire coin. Aaah yes, that was me back in school. Beautiful report. 🙏
  3. The World Is Illusion. Only Brahman Is Real. The World Is Brahman. - Sankara -
  4. @r0ckyreed Forget about the real vs imaginary dichotomy that is constantly being touted on this forum, and forget about solipsism. It's misleading nonsense. Just open your eyes and see what is clearly the case, beyond all far-fetched "explanations". And then you won't have to waste any more time asking silly questions and receiving even sillier answers.
  5. Lol, I swear, these discussions on here... hilariously absurd as always. Thanks for the daily chuckles, guys.
  6. Concepts are neither false nor imaginary. They just ARE. Beware of the word "just". Concepts are undeniably real. How do we know? Because we are talking about them.
  7. Like I said, the concept of "border" undeniably appears within present reality. So in a relative sense, borders do exist; they have the same degree of reality as "you" or any other relative concept. From an absolute standpoint, all there is is THIS, the undivided whole without name or definition.
  8. "Borders" is a concept existing within this. So in that sense... yes. The trick is to simply recognize it as such.
  9. Like @Osaid said in another thread: Paradox arises when logic reaches its limit (the brick wall, as you call it). The mechanics of logic are the mechanics of conceptual separation: You make "sense" of the world by mentally cutting it up into pieces and putting these pieces into relation (=> relative truth). And this whole principle collapses once you try to approach absolute truth. You simply cannot express the absolute in relative (logical) terms; and whenever you try, so-called paradox will be the unavoidable outcome. And it's not that logic cannot grasp the Absolute because the Absolute is too lofty or complex... on the contrary: Absolute truth is much too basic and simple for your logical mind to grasp it. That's why there is this tendency to invent endlessly complex and colorful stories around it; without those stories, your conceptual monkey mind wouldn't have anything that it could sink its greedy teeth into and would consequently starve to death, which would mean that you (or rather consciousness) would be forced to face naked reality as it is. Which is exactly what your ego tries to avoid at all possible costs. But of course, all of this is just my logical explanation.
  10. There is no "real leg" out there that exists independently from the concept of it. The leg IS the concept of the leg. Again: The experience of reality itself is an undivided whole. Do you have multiple experiences in this moment? No, you don't. You only have the unified experience of THIS, and cutting up this experience into different things like "broken leg" and other stuff is a purely conceptual process. It's amazing that you guys don't get this.
  11. Replace the word "jazz" with "truth" in that Louis Armstrong quote I've posted and you'll (maybe) get why I posted it here.
  12. If you have to ask what jazz is, you'll never know. - Louis Armstrong-
  13. Again, "other experences" is a concept existing in the Here and Now. If you could not access/register this concept, you would not be talking about it.
  14. "Sound" is just a word. The experience of reality is an undivided whole, and it has no name. Again, when you talk of "sound", you are arbitrarily separating a part of reality from all of the rest. That is what it means to turn something into a concept. Doesn't matter. The truth is what it is, whether you are convinced of it or not.
  15. You're the one who is not getting it. Yes, "moon" is a pure concept. From an absolute standpoint, the distinction that you make between "moon" and everything else is completely arbitrary. Which means that "moon" is nothing but a relative concept. Again, separation itself is nothing but a concept. Yes, it is a concept. Anything that can be put into words is conceptual.
  16. Yes it is. "My car" is nothing but a mental label that you slap onto a part of THIS. And guess what, that part doesn’t exist somewhere out there as a separate entity. The separation itself is purely conceptual. So every single "something" is a concept, and nothing but a concept. The only thing that isn't a concept is EVERYTHING aka. the totality of reality. No you don't. "I" is a pure concept, just like any other something.
  17. Maybe he just doesn't care? Who knows? All I know is that I don't know.
  18. It's all so simple. Others exist... as a concept. Their individual perspectives exist... as a concept. Just as "you" exist as a concept, appearing in the Here and Now. The fact that we are taking about these concepts is proof that they exist, and thus they are real. And that's the whole story. You're welcome.
  19. I am also great at materialising stuff. I move my fingers in a certain way, and out of nothing black letters appear on a white screen. Behold the power of psychic abilities!
  20. Ok kids, this one is a bona fide timeless classic of weird music making. Sit back, have a brandy and immerse yourself in the hair-raising cacophony of Captain Beefheart's Trout Mask Replica:
