  1. Yes. And explaining it to death just takes all the juice out of it.
  2. 'Cause it's part of the joke.
  3. Heh, that's a good one. All the time. I just don't take it serious anymore. Most people take themselves and "their" thoughts waaaaaaaayyy too serious; an this is what produces most suffering in the world imo. Taking yourself too serious leads to constant self-judgement (and judging others is of course just the flipside of that coin), which leads to misery. These days, whenever I do/think/say something "stupid", I just laugh about it like you would laugh about a silly joke and move on. (And believe me, there's a LOT of silly sh!t going through "my mind" at all times, lol.) Which doesn't mean that I don't get momentarily pissed every now and then, but that's just part of the joke! I always liked the way Alan Watts put it: Your attitude towards life can be sincere without being serious. Meaning that it is possible to be fully invested in life while at the same time being aware that it is all just a big game; and that which you call "you" is just a goofy character in the everlasting divine comedy. And yes, life can be a very black comedy at times, but it's a comedy nonetheless. And recognizing this is immensely liberating. Hence my signature.
  4. Hehehe... good one. That's why the only truly wise being is the Joker aka. the one who realizes that (s)he is and always will be both the narrator and the butt of the joke. We're all clowns. It's just that some of us know it, while others (apparently) don't. And the ones who don't are always the biggest and funniest clowns in all of existence.
  5. Don't be afraid of fear. Fear is just another word for excitement... it's the thrill of riding the divine roller coaster ride. Don't resist it; let it wash over you, flow through you, purify and transform you. And if that wasn't convincing enough, here's a little pep talk by the master of Oscar worthy (zen) slaps himself: Godspeed. ✊️
  6. https://www.dhamma.org/en/schedules/schpokhara Haven't been there, but I’ve heard of it during my visit to Pokhara. But the most amazing place I've been to in Nepal was a little village up in the hills halfway between Pokhara and Kathmandu called Bhujung... it's like a medieval mountain village out of a picture book. Here's a report about my stay that I've posted in my Travelling Through India thread: If you're interested in experiencing authentic Nepali village life, then definitely check out this place. It's one of the most magical & gorgeous places you'll ever see.
  7. I said that you won't get straight logical answers from a spiritual teacher. Does that mean that asking for them is a mistake? Cool.
  8. So? Does that make it somehow wrong? The AI gave you the perfect answer. There are no mistakes... there's only different ways to reach the same ultimate destination. There are smooth paths and rocky paths, straight paths and winding paths; and one kind of path isn't inherently better or worse than another. Some people like smooth and direct sailing, while others prefer a wild and adventurous roller coaster ride full of unexpected ups and downs. What path you choose to travel is entirely up to you. So, have fun and enjoy the ride. ✌️
  9. @Ahbapx Lol, that's what happens when you demand clear-cut black-and-white logical answers from a "guru". Spirituality simply doesn't work like that. Anyway, the AI presented you with a beautiful paradox when answering your pigheaded questions: "Do you make any mistakes?" - No. "Is the answer you just gave me wrong?" - Yes. Hehe... what a great way to subvert your stubborn demand for clear-cut binary logic. No Zen master could have offered you a better koan to chew on. Enjoy!
  10. Sorry, I totally forgot to refute this one... how rude of me. "Others do actually have experiences" is a conceptual story. "You right now are actually conscious" is a conceptual story. "You are a philosophical zombie appearing like you are conscious but really aren’t" is a conceptual story. What do these conceptual stories point to? Nothing. They just exist. Get it now?
  11. Smart guy, that Claude fellow.
  12. Lol. Like most of the things that Leo posts these days, it's hard to tell if it's (self-)parody or legit.
  13. This ties in nicely with what Leo wrote about what would happen / does happen when a staunch conservative talks to AI. "What, this thing doesn't conform with my biases and conceptual stories about reality? IT'S CRAP!!" Lol.
  14. So you do agree with my "fucking crap"? Good to know.
  15. "Illusion" is a relative concept. If all relative concepts are illusory, then the concept of "illusion" is itself illusory and therefore negates itself. Which makes it a completely meaningless notion. If something exists, then that necessarily means that it is a part of reality, which means that it is real. Duh. So, we've established now that relative truth is real. Is absolute truth (aka. the undivided whole of existence) also real? Of course it is. It is reality itself. In short: Relative and absolute reality are both real. They are just two facets of one and the same thing. Make sense? Cool. Glad I could help. 🙏
  16. Here's a fun fact for you... remember that thread I started a while back in the Off Topic section about the shamanic trance music band Heilung? The front man of this band said in an interview that he heard several reports of people who claimed that listening to his band's music healed their tinnitus. Go figure! Nomen est omen, as the Romans used to say.
  17. Come on, this is a no brainer. Give it to the support girl, and let her decide if she wants to give it back to her boss (thereby potentially getting in his good graces) or use it to perform a voodoo ritual on his stupid ass. Case closed!
  18. Need I point out the obvious? Master and slave = duality. Thank you for once again confirming the existence of relative truth. 😘
  19. Just a bit of good old-fashioned fun for the whole family.
  20. Yeeeeeeah, good luck finding that on here.
  21. Eeeeeexactly. That's the problem with people taking powerful psychedelics without having properly worked on increasing their conductivity first. Your wires will get roasted if you get flooded with more pranic energy than you can handle... which can lead to serious imbalances. So buyer beware.
  22. The consciousness is always the same, yes, but you as a body-mind-complex can be a bad or a good conductor for divine consciousness to shine through. And your conductivity can be increased through methods Iike yoga... that is their whole purpose.
  23. So there is no such thing as duality/relativity? That's strange... how come we can talk about it if it doesn't exist? Of course I will, cause it's true. 😘 Everything I say should be completely obvious to anyone who isn't completely dense. If you choose to play deaf, dumb and blind, then that's your problem.
  24. Hehehe... you remembered that one, huh?
