  1. Everyone wants to be identified with something. They need a sense of belonging and a place where they can have control and where they can exercise some leadership. So it's not surprising religious leaders becoming more and more religious.

However, one point of self actualization is to break away from identities and rise to a higher level of consciousness.

  2. The fatality rate of 52% is extremely high. This also does not mean that the remaining people who survived may be doing well. Most of them may still have other nagging injuries like headache, extreme pain, being bedridden or they may die from other illness like heart attack but it's not recorded.

I have an ex colleague who got covid, seemingly recovered but was in extreme pain that he went to commit suicide few months later by jumping off a building.

And given that bird flu has spread widely before, the potential of spreading is still pretty damn high. I would stock up on masks at the very least.

  3. If you really want to achieve your goals, you will go for them. You would source for a suitable land and approach agent and ask about land price. Few people actually paid 100% on the land they purchased. Most people borrowed or took on around 80% loans.

You can start approaching financial officials to see how you can purchase a land and start building a farm. Saving money is just one step. Anyone can say they save money from 10% to 80%. The next step is to go out and ask more questions on how you can buy your land and build your place.

  4. Upsides

There is a somewhat coherent flow of information from the first post to the last post. This is in contrast to reddit or Twitter comments where any dogs and cats can just post any comments everywhere.

    Downsides

There is no likes or upvote or downvote buttons so you have no idea if the post is any good (or troll post 😗) until you actually read them.

  5. I would say that it really depends on your level of experience and the amount of self help materials plus psychology studies you have done upon yourself. It is different for everybody.

Obviously if let say you are 35 year old and you have studied tons of self-help, you would consider going to a coaching program by a 20 year old a joke though there may be exceptions.

Some of us on this forum amassed so much self-help knowledge over the past 5 to 10 years so we probably need to get outstanding materials from top gurus like Leo Gura or Sadhguru.
