  1. I've just started a job two weeks ago after being out of employment for a while. I'm a kitchen porter and I work in a busy restaurant/bar. I've been enjoying having a job and the responsibility that comes with it, but a problem has arisen. One of the chefs I work with is a bit of a tough guy. He's smaller in stature than me, but he looks and acts tough all the time. I am an honest, straightforward guy who is in touch with his feelings, so I think it makes him feel uncomfortable.

We were on a group chat last night, and there was a misunderstanding when he didn't get a joke I made, then I asked him if he was "out" (what I meant was, was he "out for the night") as it was a Saturday night. He thought I was questioning his sexuality though. He then said I "act gay", which I took offence to and basically told him to "fuck off". All the kitchen staff saw this conversation as it was group chat on messenger. I'm not sure what to do because I'm the only new member of staff, and don't want to cause any trouble, but also don't want to be treated like shit. I want to keep my job, but don't know if I can continue to work with this guy.

I've had some mental health problems which I'm still working through. I am quite open about them which is another thing that maybe makes him uncomfortable. But having a job is great for my wellbeing. I finish each day feeling satisfied (even if I'm just a kp).

I'm basically worried I will be ostracised because I'm a bit different to the people I work with, I'm new, and now I've had this argument with this guy.

    Any advice?

When traditional prayer works it's due to law of attraction and intention. Your intentions DO affect reality. Intention is very powrful when it is practiced consistently and consciously.

Whatever you intend with emotion and conviction will tend to become true. Because your will is a splinter off God's Will. You literally have the power of God within you. The more conscious you become the more of it you will be able to tap and manifest.

It's not a miracle. It's because you are God, and reality is a giant Mind.

Thankyou, but how is reality a giant Mind? Are you saying there is no separate minds, just one giant one?

@TheAvatarStateIt can teach you discipline, humility, submission and surrendering to the higher self.

Exactly, it's the most humbling thing you can do.

But if God is "you", and you are only speaking to yourself, how do you explain prayers that are answered with results happening outside of your individual control?

I suppose Leo would say there is no outside world. That's something I'm still not convinced of.

@EvilAngel Free will is an idea that offers a sense of control to the mind-body and allows an ego to stay in the game. It also has practical value in terms  of survival and evolution. Upon closer observation,  awareness arises that there is nothing to have this free will. Ime, this is one if the core realizations in terms of awakening/ expansion. Identification and attachment to an idea of feee will is highly contractive. Determinism is yet another idea of the mind. The flip side of the dualism.

Sorry but you're still using verbs... VERBS SUGGEST FREE WILL. So why do you "use" them????

I really liked Leo's explanation of ultimate freedom in his latest video. You can't have ultimate freedom without giving someone the freedom to create limitations. Freedom and limitations are concepts that you just can't pin down.

Sorry but even the fact that there are verbs to be used suggests free will. How can one create anything without free will?

  6. This puzzles me. If there is really no free will, and the universe is a unified whole, that simply exists and flows naturally, then why does it seem as if one is "out of sync" with existence? Maybe a question I shouldn't be asking, but I'd love to hear your views on this.

The reason I ask is that it appears as if we do in fact have free will - free will perhaps to relinquish free will...

Look around you - there are people who are flowing naturally with existence and those who are not...

Does this not suggest that there is free will after all?

@EvilAngel @abrakamowse So are you saying that the delusion became reality? How does that happen? If I'm In a delusional state and I believe I'm Wonderwoman and have super powers obviously that is untrue. Are you talking about a different style of delusion

    i hope I explained that clearly¬¬

Delusions must have some basis in reality or at least be remotely possible otherwise they wouldn't occur. Who would believe they could shoot fire from their fingers when they try it and it doesn't work? Nobody I guess. However, someone believing, for example, that their whole life is a set-up, involving a great many people...this could be true - and that's my point - that beliefs such as this can seem extremely far fetched, and this they may be, yet that does not rule them out completely.

  8. You say this in at least one of your videos. I'm just interested to know why, because I for one have had some very powerful experiences during and following on from prayers.

I have had prayers answered many times, and when they are answered it fills me with a joy that I can't compare to anything else.

Can you explain what the Holy Spirit is if it is not in fact the workings of a deity?

  9. I just wanted to share an incredible insight I have had which has led to a breakthrough in my state of consciousness.

I have been doing a lot of self-inquiry today inbetween sets of "do nothing" sits.

I asked myself "am I the body"... The answer came back "no"... I asked "am I the voice in my head" and then I went through my five senses etc.

Then I realised what "I" think I am... Which is suffering itself. Then I kept repeating to myself "there is the suffering, but I do not suffer. I am the awareness behind the suffering"

This is an incredible breakthrough for me, as I have learnt how to detach myself from suffering. It is still there, but as it is not me, it does not have the same effect.

  10. There are real life problems that have to be dealt with and thought about. Say you have a fight with someone, and you were in the wrong..., should you apologise, or should you just say to yourself "that was two days ago, there's no need in even thinking about it, after all it's in the past now"?

The obvious answer is yes, you should apologise, because it clears the air and you are acknowledging that you made a mistake. However, some people seem to be so eternally "in the now" that they fail to see the need in even apologising, or sorting out long-standing personal or inter-relational issues. It's just an excuse they use to avoid taking responsibility for their lives/actions.

This is something I have been guilty of. Meditation for me can act as a sort of get-out clause to avoid legitimate psychological/emotional strain. Don't get me wrong, it's great to be present and experience the actuality of this moment, however, practically speaking, if your problems are always dealt with in this way, they will always reappear, because in reality, by meditating all you have been doing is procrastinating.

  11. A loud banging noise comes from my kitchen intermittently, especially whenever I'm doing something that might not be in my best interests. My TV turns itself off now and again as well. I'm thinking it's probably my mum who passed 4 years ago. I also saw some orbs recently whilst relaxing on my sofa...two points of light that appeared in front of me. I swear I'm not going crazy, and instead of being scared I actually find it quite comforting. :)
