    Hyper inflation isn't far off, so I'm reckoning he's saying to hedge Gold / Silver and if he's on the Crypto wave then Bitcoin and some Alt Coins? 

    Yes. He hedge Gold/Silver because it have been the ultimate form of money for thousand of years. Any currency that is not back by gold will ultimately fail to zero value, since they keep printing more and more.
